Problem with Floyd is that he cannot ever be Leonard. Leonard was a harder puncher and more versatile than Floyd. FLoyd is a beautiful boxer, but he is not as versitile as Ray. Ray was unique. And Ray fought the best competition possible.

Didn't Floyd say something about Oscar playing mind games? PUBLICITY STUNT
If he leaves the sport without meeting one of Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley or Oscar then I won't miss him. He acts like a spoilt brat not a role model.
I also thought he wanted a belt at 154 pound before turning 30? well his birthday is in Feb so my guess is it will be a Spinks at 154.
It could be that he realised against Baldo that he can't hurt anyone with a chin at 147.

Just like Hatton's doing?!? For christs sake Ricky doesn't want the fight and who can blame him.. He doesn't have the talent to share a ring with MAyweather. DLH, Mosley, Margarito, those are the only meaningful opponents for Floyd now, and Tony would mostly just be to shut people up..Quote:

That's the names it all boils down to and who states he does'nt wanna fight the other..?
Not Hatton from what PBF is saying ;)
Between the members of this forum we could force this one to happen ;D
Collectively we must have the power
What if Oscar decides to step in the ring with Scary boy Floyd?Quote:

This will be another RJJ vs Milk Dud Tarver.
I say phuk it. Make the fight happen and lets watch another RJJ vs Tarver. Maybe they can sucker the Pay Per Viewers with 3 boring azz dances.
Get a 30 foot ring and watch these guys run from one another.
p4pking you almost sound as full of shit as floyd when you talk bollocks like that
Ray was also greater at paying off judges.Quote:

Boring and predictable. yet why doesn't he take a little less money and fight the better fighters. All those guys in the hall of fame had to swallow some pride once in a while. Hagler agreed to 12 rounds to Leonard and bigger gloves and a bigger ring..Why? So he could get Ray in the ring. That is a guy who wants to prove something, not just talk.
tell me something... how did you get to 300 odd posts mark without anyone realising your a twat?Quote:

margarito is a great fighter with lots of heart and will fight anybody, he just cant go round calling everyone out!
ive never heard floyd ever mention cotto and i suspect he doesnt think cotto is in the same league as him.. think again floyd step up and prove how great you are...
cotto doesnt even make his own decisions on fights because he is so confident he can beat anybody..
his promoters try to get him the big fights and cotto takes them.
hatton is a great fighter who never ducks anybody, he has asked for alot of dollars... but dollars have to translate into pounds and thats why he asks for that much!!
and floyd is angered by the mention off hatton because he is a big name who people think could beat him whether hatton could or not is a different story.. also this is to do with floyds ego.
also..... this is another idiotic remark that just shows me you know little about boxing and if you were really a boxing fan you would spread such controversial bullshit!Quote:

And as for floyd... well what can i say...
i dont believe his remarks that he is more concerned with a legacy then he is with money..
if he were then he would have fought the creme de la crem as there has never been a shortage of great fights for floyd... and floyd has had great fights, but none that he was the underdog..
and none that people would expect him to do anyything but win.. i'll be the first to admit i was optimistic about baldomir.. but at the end of the day.. with carlos as slow as he is.. it wasnt a huge test for floyd atall... and in a way floyd stunk out the joint when he could have gone for a stoppage..
But the news is... floyd you havnt secured as great a legacy as you think...
yes you do need de la hoya... shame for you that oscar does not need you...
and if oscar were to take the fight.. it would be the single greatest challenge of floyds career...
and if oscar were to loose... floyd still wouldnt get the credit he wants because oscar is not at his prime...
i think floyd need at least two... if not three or four more fights...
oscar for the legacy....
and at least one.. maybe two or three real young contenders and true champs.. i.e margarito, mosely, hatton, cotto, that is the list to gain the real legacy... all a matter of opinion of course...
but its unlikely i'll be swayed...
Peace to my brothers...
And a well deserved :sadclick: for that sampson cat!!
What about pryor?Quote:
