Yes Sir...It gets hot and Heavy around here at times but I find disagreements only last as long as the next topic we are talking about..So its all good...... :)
Alright JT I'm here. What's cracking? Looks like you put these foolish Floyd bashers in there place. Good. Good.

JT
All I can say is that it is not just people on Saddo boxing who are being critical of PBF's performance.
Here is the video footage of last nights post fight interview with Larry Merchant.
http://www.nowupload.com/?12392
http://www.nowupload.com/archive/12392.wmv
The people (paid customers) booed and left.
Larry told it like it is and Floyd got his pink thong in a major knot.
At the end of the footage, we see two other commentators basicly saying PBF is not who he claims he is.
These are guys from HBO, not from Saddo.
They all work for HBO and PBF has a contract with HBO, but thank God these commentators have the balls and the ability to discern the facts from PBF's fiction.

PBF is another NAZ.

So, PBF wants Oscar?
They should give him an Oscar for all the theatrics.

I just hope people quit with the "all you have to do is pressure Floyd to beat him" posts ::**
You beat Floyd with timing and making him lead.

Larry Merchant is a pretensious Prik who Rubs EVERYONE THE WRONG WAY...He has had run ins with James Toney, RJJ, B-Hop with regularity Larry is an old senile fool and needed to be put in his place....
As far as leaving a venue early...I have left plenty of sporting events early when it was so one sided..
Why is this all on Floyd...Baldi stunk up the joint landing 12-13% of his punches and was plodding around the ring like a piece of construction equipment swinging at a ghost....
If he did this to Margarito people would be saying the same nonsense but just twisting it another way...
Do you remember Leonard at a press conference telling Hagler a fight with him will never Happen since he is retireing or when He avoided Aaron Pryor like the plague....
Its to early to be cutting the man 2 pieces over quality of opponents...He just beat the WELTERWEIGHT CHAMP of the world...Not a Belt holder but The Champ..
You guys have to be careful with Margarito..If Clottey wins there is gonna be alot of egg on peoples faces..that boy isint out of the woods yet..Floyd is at a High level right now and there is not anyone who comes close to his skill period...
I ask you who do you want him to fight so he can be worthy 2 you??
Re: This Is Just Plain Ridiculous and Perplexing to Me..The Scrutiny Of Floyd
You pay good money to see a talented fighter like floyd put on unmatched natural boxing skills. You pay to witness his war strategies and how he meticulously breaks his opponents apart. You pay to see his speed and god-like reflexes and his perfected defense. His performance, ultimately, encompassed the strategies and skills to beat a guy like Baldomir. I couldn't ask for more than that. I agree some's expectations are to see him go toe-to-toe and have an outright brawl, but it is in Floyd's nature to fight the way he does. After all why not utilize what's in your arsenel of weapons, in Floyd's case his quickness and beautiful defense.
You have to remember, Emanuel Steward, from what i understand, is a trainer or potential trainer for Margorito, etc etc. I would not agree with Emanual as a commentator 100% of the time given his opinion is or maybe biased.
I consider Floyd the greatest fighter in terms of style, agility, defense, and quickness, but maybe not in terms of the quality of opponents he has fought, though his resume is pretty impressive at this point.
Only time will tell, but in the mean time i sure enjoy seeing this man put on god-like styles and his ability to quickly get in and adapt and systematically break down his opponent.

Emanuel Stewart needs to stfu about Floyd needed to stand and trade with Baldomir. His fighter Hearns did that when he was winning against leonard and got beat. Another one of his fighters that fought that way needs to be in a wheelchair and is blinded. To hell with what he says about Floyd needs to stand and trade ::**

I give floyd credit, i didnt see the fight but really i never thought baldomir had a chance. Hes way too slow and like i say about margarito...if your that slow then you really dont have a chance against pbf.

JT you made an excellent post here man! I couldn't have said it nearly as well as you. CC's to you for the next week!
Re: This Is Just Plain Ridiculous and Perplexing to Me..The Scrutiny Of Floyd
I don't think anyone can question Floyd's skill and work ethic...he is a supremely talented fighter. The problem is how he feels he can be mentioned in the same breath as the all time greats. Whether it's Floyd's fault or not...he simply hasn't fought truly great opponents...especially recently. JT, i certainly NEVER thought fighters like Gatti or Baldomir or even Judah could beat Floyd. In the case of Gatti and Baldo...you are talking about 2 fighters who are MUCH slower and less skilled than Mayweather. Floyd and his fans try and make a case that defeating these 2 is a tremendous accomplishment....but those fights are so predictable. Slow and limited skilled fighters against one who is very fast and very skilled...wonder who is gonna win? As or Judah...one of the most mentally unfit fighter there are...that outcome was also easily predictable. I am not gonna hate on Floyd for winning those matches...he simply won against opponents he had no business losing too...he took care of business. But i'm not gonna swing on his nuts and claim that this is further proof that he is an "all time great." So whether it's a case of great fighters avoiding him or he is avoiding great fighters or there simply aren't great fighters out there at this time to challenge him....there just isn't enough examples to call Floyd (or him calling himself) an all time great. He has fought some good fighters early in his career....but he is just coasting right now.

That's exactly it, there isn't one person Floyd could pick to fight next that wouldn't have people like you fabricating every excuse in the book as to why they never had a chance in the first place, and weren't the best fighter he could have picked.. Face it, there's noone out there who doesn't have any major flaws, except Floyd himself.. Say he fights Margarito... Too slow as you say, just like Baldomir and Gatti. terrible footwork, akward wide punches. And who has he ever beaten? Mosley- past it, looked bad recently, hasn't beat a good dangerous fighter in years. Cotto- too green, just moved to 147, suspect chin, blah blah blah. Hatton- just not as good at welterweight, look at the Collazo fight(although I would love to see this one just to shut ppl up). Oscar is the only guy he'll get credit for beating, and he obviously want's that fight.... What more can he do? It's not Floyds fault there's no Thomas Hearns, Duran, and Leonard around to fight. It's pathetic the lengths people go to rag on him. What do you think people said about Sugar Ray Leonard back when he was around(the guy who's jockstrap Floyd will never be able to carry according to many here ::**).. When he fought Duran the 2nd time, he probably received the same flak Floyd is right now.. People saying oh that bitch ran, look what happened when he really tried to fight him. Or when he beat Hearns, people started saying Thommy had a bad chin otherwise would have won easily, rather than acknowledge it having anything to do with the way SRL fought. Hagler, goes without saying that he was criticized for running in that fight. Forget the fact that he came back to fight at 160 after being retired for years, and fought his ass off with the best strategy he could, absorbing a great deal of punishment. But people forget these things as soon as he retired, because all they were doing is hating in the first place.
Re: This Is Just Plain Ridiculous and Perplexing to Me..The Scrutiny Of Floyd
cc JT...at this point Floyds attitude is earning him less fans. If he retires after his next fight like he said then he will not be as appreciated as he could of been. I am still not sure if it is that he hasnt actually fought anybody that can test him or simply that there isnt anybody that can. I look at the 147 division and although there is a plethora of talent there, I dont see anybody that I feel can beat Floyd. I think a couple of fighters might test him, but nobody that I look at and say, yep that is the one to take him out. I think if Floyd moves up to 154 to take on ODLH then he might have some issues, but IMHO I dont think there is anybody that can beat him right now. I am not a PBF nut hugger and I cant stand the guy, but the guy has skills that are unmatched at any 140, 147, 154.

I understand and respect what you are saying but that doesnt hide the fact that Floyd simply doesn't have the resume to be considered an all time great at the moment. And with all due respect...he has never come close to fighting anyone in the class of a sugar ray, hearns, duran, or hagler. I am not making excuses for who he fights...but the bottom line is...fighters like Baldo, Gatti, Judah, etc...just arent great fighters...no where close. I don't doubt Floyd's ability, I just don't view his recent victories as evidence of his "greatness."
