The fact that he can dominate other champions is very impressive to me, I would have loved to see him have a great trilogy with someone but there was no one on his level, he is not a likeable guy but you have to admire his talent, and shuting out the linear champion whether it was exciting or not in incredible too me.
Exactly. Exactly he is immpressive to watch, but so was Roy Jones. And you never hear Jones name mentioned alsongside Sugar Ray Robinson. Mayweather needs a tough risky fight. He needs a Jake LaMotta of his own imo

If Floyd could beat the above list (in addition to whom he's already beaten), then he should probably be considered as "THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME."

His legacy is ok but I am not sure his legacy is even as solid as being cemented in mud at the moment. He has to fight legends so these fights live on for the future. Oscar did it. Hearns did it. Hagler did. Chavez did. All the legends did and Floyd has not. He has to fight a big name next. If he fights another Baldomir kind of guy next his career will be forgotten in the future.

Honestly I don't think it matters if he retires after his next figt or if he fights Tony, Cotto, Hatton or Oscar or Mosley. If he was to fight all the people everyone has listed by then there is going to be someone else that as worked there way up the ranks and is hot (Maybe Paul Williams or someone else), then everyone is going to say if he fought this guy then it would cement his legacy for me then after him it will be someone else its a never ending battle to me.

A fighter cements his legacy by beating the best out there. So far, Floyd has NOT done that, and if you think Floyd doesn't care about about his legacy, you are sadly mistaken. That, and money, are all he cares about. Fighters care about their legacy all the time - look at Hopkins, Jones, and to some degree, Toney. Why else would Hopkins consider fighting Maskaev? Yes, it is arrogant, but guess what, I'm not sure there is a more arrogant person on the planet than PBF.

The same way that you give PBF no credit for beating the linear champion I believe that you would do the same if he beat anyone of the people that you think he needs to beat. There was someone who made a very good post yesterday and listed all the fighters in contention to fight PBF and made the excuses of the fans if he were to beat them. The truth is it's a lose lose situation with people like you, if he would have ducked Baldo and fought Margarito and beat him you would have switched your opinion around, truth be told he could never do anything to satisfy someone such as yourself.
Wrong. Very wrong. I like Floyd a lot. I give him plenty of credit for beating the linear champ. I give him plenty of credit for dominating Castillo in the rematch and destroying Chico. I think he needed to beat Baldy. I just think he needs to beat Tony, too, and clean up some loose ends. I think he will beat all of the fighters listed, but I want to see it actually happen.
This guy thinks that he is the best to EVER put on gloves. I'm sorry, but before I list someone as an the BEST EVER I need him to erase any possible doubts and shut up all the naysayers. Unify 147, then retire.

maybe we were spoiled by the fighters of the past like Chavez and Hearns and Delehoya. guys who fought the best. Floyd can be regarded as good fighting the guys he is fighting, but not great. And no way is he really that high on the all time p4p list. he needs some better wins. He seems to lack confidence to fight the best.

For me personally, I think he should go to 154 for a title, then he can get to the list. The only ones that make sense to me at this point are Margarito - to unify at Welter and ODLH to grab the super huge glory.
