Agreed. ODLH is the bigger draw, but he did around 900,000 buys for the Mayorga fight. If he fights Floyd that fight is doing double that amount. Floyd really does need ODLH, but let's not underestimate the fact that if ODLH wants to fight and make 30+ Million for himself, he needs Floyd too. well I cannot say that Oscar is not older and Floyd shouldn't beat him. Floyd should fight him and should beat him although I think Oscar had some fights there against Sturm and Hopkins where in one fight he was not in shape, and the next one he was just oversized so Floyd better get in shape and expect a good Oscar. At 154 or even a catchweight of 151, Oscar might come in awesome shape and his speed will be better, and he might be able to make it interesting. I am not sure if Oscar has looked bad because of age or the weight so this fight still is attractive. I do know that in my mind Oscar has not taken that much punishment in his career. But Oscar's career whether he fights on or not is solid. He is going into the hall and he is a legend. Floyd does not have the record. What would look better on Floyd's record. A fight with a guy like Williams? or a fight with Delahoya or Mosley. The name means alot on his record. A fight with Tito for Delahoya seems like a waste of time.
Even if PBF takes the short money the exposure is an investment!! If he makes it a good fight and not catch me if you can Oscar will no doubt inflate Floyd's future earnings more than anyone else and frankly after Baldomir Floyd could do with that.

Wrong. The ODLH fight isn't an investment for Floyd. If Floyd beats ODLH, he still won't be a huge PPV star. Putting up high PPV numbers is all about personality. That's the reason why ODLH and Tyson were MEGA stars. Floyd talks a lot but he doesn't have the out of the ring qualities of a Ray Leonard or a ODLH to ever do big numbers on PPV. Remember Oscar 1997-2000 was ALL over the place, doing magazine interviews, talk shows, and what not. Floyd puts a lot of people off with his ego. He doesn't have the natural charisma to go along with his cockiness like SRL did. Floyds ego is too big to accept that offer you just talked about. It should be at least a 60-40% split. He is gonna kick Oscar's ass if and when it happens. And I bet he wont retire if he beats DLH. That will only skyrocket his popularity. He should take out Oscar than set his sights on Margarito or Mosley (just to get another huge name on his resume). There is no way this is gonna be settled in a week.
