I'm not saying to completely focus on boxing, but to actually use it. Theres a lot more to boxing than long punching combinations with perfect form. Footwork, movement, accurate and crisp punches and properly utilizing the jab. I've stopped plenty of friends with a nice stiff jab when they try and shoot on me (many of whom were very good wrestlers in HS and college, including on friend who went undefeated in HS and only once loss throughout college...granted, wasn't exactly div 1a, but i'm not exactly Ali in there...never had a real match, only sparring and backyard boxing with friends that actually compete). Most MMA fighters seem to use that "please knock me out" pawing jab that I hate so much (esp. Chuck).

And by the way, learning to check a kick and defend a takedown takes a LOT less work than a wrestler needing to learn actual submissions and how to box.

i blame drago for that ..... i dont feel bad for him shouldnt of droped his hands and came in wildly like and ameture .. thas y when coach tells me put em up i put em up
