Re: Hatton's Badmouthing of Floyd is Pathetic, and Quite Frankly, Sad
I seem to remember a few weeks back several people wetting their knickers over comments made by Lennox Lewis about the current state of the heavyweight division. Again I ask, like Lewis, what is Hatton supposed to do lie?
Grow the fuck up some of you.

I don't buy Hatton can't get up to the weights Mayweather is fighting at... He outweights Mayweather by like 30 pounds.

What a silly thread,I mean firstly PBF never badmouths anyone does he ::**(as I'm guessing your a PBF fan) and second,Hatton is entitled to his opinion. I'm not a massive fan of Ricky's but if he thought Floyd's last 2 fights were boring,then that's his opinion?!

Re: Hatton's Badmouthing of Floyd is Pathetic, and Quite Frankly, Sad
I do believe it was Mayweather who cranked off the war of words with Hatton. Hatton usually doesn't talk trash.

and id like to know how hatton is fighting bums he is fighting castillo next year and this is the same guy that gave mayweather hell and should won first fight and second one was quite close aswell so how is that signing up to fights bums ::**
Your boxing knowledge is extremely limited. But your a youngster, so I guess you'll learn. Eventually.

He can't stand the fact that Mayweather is now set to have all the mainstream attention and fame that Hatton so miserably failed to gain in his so called 'American coming out party.' If Hatton had sacked up and even tried to make the fight instead of simply talking through the media and signing to fight bums, maybe it would be him this May who would be duking it out with the sports pound for pound best, but no. He instead chooses to live off of the long deceased glory of a fight that took place over a year ago. Ricky Hatton's badmouthing of Mayweather is pitiful and if Hatton fans can't man up and accept the truth, I feel sorry for you.
a sad click for you im afraid... your views are based on opinion and not fact..
ricky has given his honest opinions and it seems youve taken them to heart..
and whats more i find it interesting a floyd fan has gone all shirty about bad mouthing... you wana look at badmouthing other fighters maybe you are looking for floyd.. he does it more then most!
like i say your views are your own.. they are wrong, but at least theyr your own..

I dont like this thread at all. Hatton is a complete gentleman.

Re: Hatton's Badmouthing of Floyd is Pathetic, and Quite Frankly, Sad
Maybe because Hatton tries to sell that just because he's exciting that he could beat Mayweather. A lot of good that did Arturo Gatti.

It all depends on how you like your boxing.
Floyd vs Baldomir = 12 round UD decision.
Floyd vs Judah = 12 round UD decision with a riot.
Floyd vs Mitchell = 6th round TKO.
Floyd vs Gatti = 6th round TKO.
Floyd vs Brusseles = 6th round TKO.
Floyd vs Corley = 12 round UD decision.
Floyd vs N'dou = 7th round TKO.
Floyd's done just fine...also...it's funny...but everyone keeps jumping time lines with Floyd. First it's that he hasn't fought an exciting fight or worthy opponent in the last 3-4 years, then it's his last two fights, & next it'll be either he was a joke because Oscar beat him...or Oscar was worn out because Floyd beat him...
Not that I'm commenting one way or another...I mean I did promise mum's the word on that matter till May the Fif.
Holy christmas...that's a long gotdam time for me to keep quiet. ;D

One word: URANGO. I mean...come on. ::** :-X
Excluding Kostya & Collazo...what else can you say?
Ben Tackie? Carlos "I got lucky...just once" Maussa?
Damn...& everyone rips Floyd's record apart. ::**

O0 I never seen anyone leave early during a Ben Tackie fight ! yikes ;D The :cwm23: made me say that Wacko, please forgive me ! ;) all in good fun ! ;)

Re: Hatton's Badmouthing of Floyd is Pathetic, and Quite Frankly, Sad
The argument can be made that it's Frank Warren's fault that Hatton faced B level fighters one after another, but facts are facts.
A year ago another argument could be made that PBF never faught anyone decent at 140, and he was a paper champ. Now look at him, he's smashed that one to pieces with his recent 147 showings. Maybe Hatton can do the same in the next year coming up, disregarding Urango of course, which is a bad start to the year, but at least its an exciting fight.
