Holyfield VS Valuev...who pulls it off and how?

I STILL haven seen the Evander/Fres fight so
based on the Donald fight and assuming that there was no HUGE change or improvement in Evanders punch output and ability to get off.
Valuev is raw but he does have a decent work rate. Hes naturally that big not a small guy with smalll lungs and heart who has beefed up to 350.
Unlike evander/briggs etc.
Now ruiz did ok and Evander is about the same so its not out of the question that evander wins but.
With the giant Every punch does damage and evander WILL NOT be able to push him around or tire him out. Evander won fights on conditioning and work rate. he just plain out worked you till you tired out. had trouble with BIG natural strong guys like BOWE and clutchers like ruiz. I think that Evander runs out of gas after being mauled and the giant hairy ape man then takes him home to his Yeti cave to be his man-slave.

Well at that level it'd be easy for evander to sneak in a headbutt to the nuts and ko valuev if the ref doesn't see it.

Even Jeremy Bates shook Holyfield up a few times, he no longer has a chin, Valuev by KO, I hope it never happens, say what you like about Valuev, but he's impressive just to watch such a huge guy box properly, if a little cumbersome and slowly but for he wins the fights, and it looks like he'll be tough to beat, someone big and quickish needs to fight him, like Klitschko or Lyakhovich. Face it, he's a freak, but he ain't bad for boxing, we'd all love to see that freak show.

The legend is dead. Valuev would lean on him and wear Holyfield out, then stop him with clubbing shot Evander would have ignored in his prime.

Valuev pulls this off. Holyfield has to deal with that 10+ inch advantage and unless he is able to KO valuev hitting up that high his stamina still has to be good enough to go 12 rounds and in his case it means spurt fighting.

Valuev on the other hand should really consider experimenting with plyometrics and explosive power training. His problem is that he is too slow to have significant pop in his punches. He needs speed work.

So much for the old theory about hand size and KO power.

5 years ago Evander would beat Valuev, I dont even doubt it...NOW I wouldnt even give him a chance. I think Val would just lean on him all night and basically exhaust Evander for a late stoppage.

Im a real big fan of Holyfields but he just doesnt have another big performance in him IMO, Im not even sure I'd want to watch the fight :(

Valuev wins by UD. Holy isnt a fraction of what he was and Valuev would just keep him at distance and plant shots which will roll of Evanders chin.

I think he's still got something left. Holyfield is an odd one because he has times in his career where he lags due to health problems, lack of faith whatever (see michael moorer-holyfield 1); but then he comes back and kicks ass and wins another belt. I think his delayed reaction time and slower-than-in-his-prime speed wont be a factor against the big russian gorilla guy. I do think Holyfield has the power to KO him too. I cant believe how many people picked Valuev to beat the Real Deal by KO. Only way JT KOed him was on the body, which Valuen is too big to stoop down to hit. You arent knockin Holyfield out with a head shot unless you hit him really hard in the back of the head and then on the way down ala Riddick Bowe in their third meeting. Holyfield can definitely still beat Valuev, Maskaev and Briggs. It all depends on which Holyfield shows up. Does he still have it in him to take Valuev? Absolutely. Will that extra something he needs to do be there on fight night should this fight happen? THAT is the question that is up in the air. And in answer to a previous post, I too think that a prime Holyfield would have beaten James Toney.

Holyfield in his day was a machine....a well oiled ,full gastank punching machine. hed wear you down and beat you down. even big strong skilled boxers had ahard time (bowe).
I love evander, but now hes a squeaky,rusty unicycle with a flat tire,broken spokes and a torn seat. Last two fights he couldnt get off. The thing that carried him to greatness is gone. Old age is a ruthless neighbour who moves in and borrows all of your tools till your garage is empty. His heart might let him get a few tools back but i cant see him beating anyone who is a top HW. I do however think he could get a 5th belt if he choses his oppent very carfully and is lucky. But his ranking and performances dont give him the clout to pick and choose who he can fight. If he gets anothers shot from anyone he'll probably have to take it no matter who it is. Valuev may be a wildcard,Ruiz did ok againsthim and that might be enough to encourage Evander. His best bet is against a Briggs who has an Asthma attack in round one and leg cramps in rounds 2,3,4 followwed by a spastic colon in rounds 5 & 6.
