Sorry Wack,you know you're my man but you're waaaaaaaay off the mark here. Firstly,Margarito doesn't fight like that allll the time,like I said,it was Tony's worst performance in a while as evidenced by all the arm punches which he was using due to injury and secondly,it's dissappointing to hear such a great fan of boxing use such wondrous assumptions...Clottey would have won? Rreally? How would you know that? Also, I didn't hear Clottey say Tony was lucky etc etc......so that argument has no basis on anything....
Tony took a fight more dangeorus than PBF.Williams and most of his nearest rivals have and won...when nearly everyone here thought he would lose...and he had only fought 2 mins all year,injured an ankle before the fight and injured a wrist during the fight hence the long layoff now....
And no one said he would end Floyd's carer but if Margarito looked that terrible,it makes Floyd's choice of passingup an easy $8mill plus PPV $$$ look even more silly does it not....

First off, when did Baldomir win rounds against Floyd? I must've missed them, because I had it a straight 120-108, as did the HBO crew.
Mayweather could school Margarito with weights around his ankles.
It's not totally and completely untrue to say Margarito should be a considerable underdog against either Williams or Cotto. Margarito showed no defensive skills whatsoever. His idea of blocking punches was to block them with his face. Williams and Cotto go about their offensive attacks in different ways, but they are both very talented offensive fighters, much more talented than Margarito. If Margarito is going to get hit by every punch in the book by Clottey (before Clottey hurt his hand), then he is not going to be able to avoid the punches of Cotto and Williams.

Agreed , Tony is slow as molasses , especially for a 147 lb fighter. Clottey was doing an old fashioned tap dance on his ass for the first 4 , obviously hurt his hand bad, and that was that.. but yeah your on the mark ! ;) O0
