FULL SCREEN
I had no receipt. I took then to K-mart to exchange them for widescreen but they turned me away without a receipt.
I took them to Wal-mart but they did not have the movies in widescreen.
I took them to Target and they had what I wanted! The girl at customer service scans in a return on my unopened fullscreen movies. Then scans in the widescreen movies and says, "That'll be $16.87." I took my full screen movies and left. Her explanation was that the fullscreen was bought on sale since the price went up I have to pay the difference for the same movies.
I went to Record and Tape Traders. They said the best they could do is give me $12.00 for my two movies and then I would have to re-buy the two I wanted which they had marked up to $24.99 a piece.
I do not function well in public and by this point I was an emotional wreck. I left the store so mad that I threw Talladega Nights into traffic and watched it get crushed by several cars. My family has heard my preach about how you loose 30% of the movie on full screen and how I would never own any...
I went home and tried to relax. Was fine at first until I worked myself into a frenzy thinking about it wound up kicking my fan across the bedroom.
Later in the evening I decided to try Blockbuster. So I took the remaining movie Nacho Libre and told them my grandmother had got it for me and misplaced the receipt. They gave me no hassle but said they only had used of that movie. I sorted through the used copies until I found one that wasn't scratched and brought it to the counter. It was then the man in the blue shirt told me that my grandmother had paid 29.99 for the movie there and that I had to pick some more movies. I got Scoop (the new Woody Allen) and Stay. I also got a couple sodas and some candy...
I refuse to do anything productive till mid JAnuary.
