Ask Thompson how hard Haye is to tag
Is everyone really that impressed with Haye...or is it just a Brit, thang?Quote:

Im British and I think as soon as he steps up again hes in trouble again
If Fragomani was a puncher which he isnt then Haye wouldnt have gotten outta the fight
Enzo can bang, like Haye but he mixes his shots up better is more active and has better stamina, as far as ive seen their chins are both just as brittle.
Id see haye who has battled back from adversity as having the better stamina and outlasting Haye but I could also see a ko for either but if I had to put money id go for enzo by late stoppage
What Brit thang?
He's got the ingredients theres no question. Question marks remain over his conditioning though. His training methods (in the past apparently) havent been what you'd call the beaten path. Possibly more concerned with looking the part rather than being the part.
By the way Haye is a member on maxboxing forums and I asked him why he doesnt fight Enzo, he said all the usual promoter or manager bollocks but he also admitted that they both are chinny ;D
Fair play I thought, he came across as a bit of a bragart but also pretty genuine but still as a fighter I really dont see him getting much further
Of the two I'd back Haye to win a proper world title. He has the extra bit of class that Enzo simply doesnt have. If he boxed and allowed the KO to come in its own time like he has been promising to do now for the last three or four fights then he would stand a much better chance.
He's British & alot of Britonians that I converse with are really really sold on him...while most Yanks are not or they either don't know him...hence the Brit thang.Quote:

Haye wants the big fights, wants the big occassion. I dont think he is too fond of the nasty hard work that comes before all of that though.
So it's stamina or no drive?Quote:

Well the two are kinda hand in hand arent they. I dont think he has the drive, therefor his stamina suffers.
I suppose Audley and Haye are alike in some ways. Both got good skills but both (Audley definatley) flawed in one respect or another. Haye isnt affraid to let it all hang out though, if he goes out(and Im sure he will before his career is up) it will be with a bang.
Thing is with Haye though the only real puncher hes faced he got stopped by
Not the way I was meaning it.Quote:

By that I mean...does he gas out or does he mentally shut down if he can't get his way.
But you answered me question.
It amazes me how Audley squanders his abilities. I just get so disgusted with him when I watch him box. He's got such a vast amount of skill & he's got the tools...but to me...he defines what I was asking you above...when he can't get it to go just his way...he mentally fwocks himself.Quote:

Shows how much I know about him...I didn't even know that he'd been stopped. ::**Quote:

The good news is that unlike the Thompson fight he seems to be getting better at working through the cloud. Still shouldnt be happening though.
