There's one or two randoms out there who could take him on. Herbie Hide is making a comeback at cruiserweight apparently, that might provide some entertainment.
I'd like to see him in against some quality American journeymen, experienced pro's who'll push him a bit but not pose too much serious threat to his title shot. Haye's good enough to beat people like Monte Barrett, Owen Beck, Fres Oquendo, guys like that. It'd help build his profile over in the states too, which would help when negotiating the O'Neil Bell fight.
screw that....let him fight Byrd.....and that should end all this nonsense.

lets face it 1 no one cares, 2 everyone knows the truth.. the champions are bad enough as it is, so any joke heavy haye is about to fight aint gunna be dangerous by any means lol, not to mantion the fact haye is having a tought time making the 190 limit, the fact that most people at 190 now worth fighting hit harder and are more skilled than the heavys haye would fight next anyhow lol not as if he will be fighting for a world title or someone like peter, you know what F*** it fight james toney, he needs a fight ;D
starting to lose faith in this guy. was a big big fan, now it seems he is moving to another devision so he doesn't get whooped by sum1 at 190 and lose his number 1 shot at bell.
ad-least enzo is fighting the IBF champ now he can't get haye, and that will pretty much land him a shot at bell if he wins next for a total amalgamation of the titles.
Wouldn't shock me if after fighting at heavy, haye goes and claims he can't make 190 anymore and stays up there and goes after the WBO belt, or come into the bell fight over the limit and try and fight bell in a nontitle
The HW division may be terrible today, but that certainly doens't mean that it's less dangerous for a cruiser to move up and fight there, especially considering there's absolutely no depth or any dominant fighters at cruiserweight.. As bad as the HW division is, I could name 10 fighters off the top easily who I would pick to KO David Haye.. The guy has shown to have very questionable stmaina and a weak chin at cruiser... I have no trouble thinking of guys who I deon't think he could handle... And since you wan't to make the joke of him fighting Toney, James would bne one fighter who would aboslutely murder him in the late rounds.. Along with Maskaev, Briggs, either Klit, Peter, Rahman, hell... I wouldn't pick David Haye to beat RAy Mercer until he can actually prove someone wrong ab out his stamina and chin. Let alone whether he will have power himself at HW.

why i said to fight toney so toney could beat him ::**
Haye will fight a bad heavy, read what i said, i hardly expect him to fight anyone in the top 10 atm
Re: HAYE TO MIX IT WITH THE BIG BOYS
p4pking, don't you think he showed a lot of stamina and heart against fragomeni? Sure Frag's not Vitali Klitschko but he was trying to grind Haye down, drag him into the trenches, question his heart, and Haye got thru it. Haye went through it all and came out with a late KO. The only reason he hasnt showed great stamina is coz he used to try knocking everyone out in the first 2 rounds. He's smarter than that now, the Thompson fight taught him a lot about not blowing his load too early.
Put it any way you want but Haye has the handspeed and power to hurt ANY heavyweight out there. Look how slow Shannon Briggs is with his hangs, do you think he'd beat Haye to the punch? Also, Briggs has absolutely no stamina what-so-fucking ever but he won a title, if he can do it why can't Haye?
I'd like to see him in there with a small ish heavyweight, not a monster puncher just a decent heavy like I mentioned, to see how he deals with the power. Haye walks round at 235lbs, he's a natural heavyweight, the step up shouldn't be too hard for him.
Fight Fres Oquendo at heavy, then O'Neil Bell, then defend against Chris Byrd before moving up in early 2008. That will tell us how good he is. Haye is the best heavyweight prospect in the world, and although I think he's very beatable I also think he has what it takes to beat a lot of the top heavy's.
