Its true my man, stereotyping is what humans do best, its in our nature, and you can see often on the internet there are a lot of differences in how people think, speak, and feel about certain things, I imagine some of the things I come out with are as alien to some people as I think what they are saying, but the internet breaks those boundaries, it is amazing really.
I don't know if people really do hate America, because I don't, I have been there and its a great place, but its not all that different to Britain other than the weather. Immigration, illiteracy, unemployment, welfare and drug addiction is as common here too ;)
I guess the " Don't go there, they hate Americans," comment you made is like the chicken and the egg theory. Which came first, people hating Americans, or Americans hating the world. I'm being very broad here, so no one take what I'm saying personally, I know you all love Britain ;) and I love America, God love America ;D

Hey I lived 16 years in NY and i love it although i live mow in Arizona and also like it here :-\ but wouldn't trade either for my Puerto Rico!!! ;D
