Arce and phrase 'spoon fed people/fighters' doesn't go well.....
He fought Omar Nino early in their careers Nino is a current champ.
He fought Victor Burgos early in his (Arces) career Burgos became Light Fly champ.
And how about being fed Michael Carbajal. ::**
How about Choi who was working on his 4th title defense and had previously beaten S.Sorjaturong twice...
And lets not forget the over the hill Hussein-Hussein who everyone said his youth and skills would make Arce look like an amateur.....

I didn't say they've both been fed people that have 100 to 1 chance.

I said they've both been BEING fed people of that calibre.

Know what I mean?

And Makapula and that other guy aren't someone I consider the calibre he was fighting earlier.

We're talking like, last 4 fights.

Arce was 130lb in the ring against Ler, thats a ridiculous amount of weight to cut for a 115lb fighter. He should move up to Bantam immediatly, before it takes its toll, as far as opponents though, I think he'd slaughter Vic, they should make that fight at Bantamweight, stupid titles.

Didn't think about Arce and Vic fighting at Bantamweight..... Not sure on Vic's intentions of moving up I haven't read or heard anything on that. I know he wanted to unify the division and fight any one of the other title holders there.

Wouldn't mind seeing Vic face the winner of Narvaes vs. Asloum.

As someone who is nothing more then a casual fan of the division (just haven't been able to keep up :-\ ), I think it's Vic.

Those are the only two guys I see really out there. Both have tremendous crossover appeal and both are two of the most exciting fighters in all of boxing. I know people have qualms about Vic's record but honestly, in such a low profile division, they aren't going to risk Vic against anyone. It's just a fight that has to happen. Arce has been on TV a bunch. Vic has been on TV a bunch. It just seems from a casual follower's perspective that the two guys I see competing on TV are going to be the two guys I want to see fight. And a hell of a fight that would be.

I've seen Pongsaklek. I looked at his boxrec, can't pick out who it was. But the last guy of any significance it seems was Hussein in 03. He just fought a guy with 9 fights and it was just his second fight since June. I think it was him who KO'd the guy in 30 seconds, but I couldn't care to see him.

Good points on Arce vs. Vic the more we all add input the more sense it makes that this fight should be next, but I'm starting to think that it's gonna be Castillo.

You beat me to it!!!! I was about to say,Arum wants Arce to fight either Mijares OR Marin Castillo. I don't know much about Mijares but the Castillo fight would be awesome and Martin,despite his last loss(which was on cuts so bad that they kept him out for ages and had to be operated on) is a very very good fighter.

a fight with darch will have the most hype. i think pongsaklek will just mossy on the horizon fighting in his comfort zone until he retires.

So Arce won't be fighting Castillo or Navarro or Vic he will face Cristian Mijares
