Re: green on fighting miranda= this is going to be shutout im going to humiliate him
Green didn't prepare for the guy he got knocked down by...he was a replacement AND former sparring partner.
Allan Green is a good boxer and aside from ONE slip up he's perfect.....Miranda is a HUGE power puncher but his defense is lacking ALWAYS and he gets frustrated with BOXERS.
I say Green by KO mid to late rounds....it'll last that long because they will size each other up and then figure out how to land the KO punch

Perfect? Did you watch the Emmit Linton fight? 10 rounds and he never got into a pattern, never got comfortable. Green is just as flawed as Miranda imo. And Miranda is better suited to expose Green's flaws rather then it being the other way around.

I agree with Lyle. I think Green will come in prepared and ready and outbox Miranda.
I like Miranda but to me he's probably the most overrated guy in boxing right now. Let's face it, he couldn't finish a guy whose jaw was hanging off his face for almost 8 full rounds.
He's not going to beat Taylor, Wright or if they fight Pavlick. I doubt he will beat Green either.

Well Abraham is certainly no bum, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks Green could take the punch that broke Abrahams jaw after seeing how badly that guy had him out.. Maybe Miranda is overrated but certainly he deserved to be rated above Green at this point, Allan Green has really fought nobody, it's not as if this isn't a big step up for him. Don't think he's going to handle it to well, hasn't impressed me in a while, fights nervously. Miranda by brutal KO.

Miranda is most certainly overrated. But Allan Green has shown me nothing since the KO of Codrington. 2006 was supposed to be a make or break year, he was supposed to rise to contender status. IMO, he's still short of that. He's just not that good imo. And he's definitely not a boxer. I used to be fairly high on him, but he just hasn't made any strides in a long time.
THe world beater talk from the Miranda crowd certainly isn't warranted, he smoked Willie Gibbs. Eduard smoked Gibbs 3 years ago. Not that big of a deal. And he didn't even look all that good doing it. But an explosive puncher like Miranda is going to be the one to show flaws in Green's game. Of all the big fights, this is the one I'm most confident in picking.

Miranda has more weaknesses that Green can take advantage of. Do you acknowledge that Miranda isn't going to outbox Green?

Of course that isn't going to happen. Everyone in their right mind knows that that isn't going to happen. Green had lapses in that in between range. He's not bad from the outside. He's not bad on the inside. But once you enter that grey area he gets lazy and doesn't protect himself like he should.
And Green isn't keeping Miranda outside. Miranda has sort of a shelled defense and he can get inside on you, you just have to take advantage of him there. And on the inside Green can't bang with Miranda. Green get's a little sloppy on the inside, he's a big guy he likes to stand straight up and slap you around with hooks. But that isn't going to fly with such a dynamic puncher.
