lacy doesnt need to hang them up yet. just once the injury problem is gone i hope to see something good for lacy

I wouldn't normally ever try to dictate to a fighter when he should quit.
Some people seem to feel that once his chance to become (or continue to be) the greatest in the world is over and he is not improving that he must quit.
Lots of guys know that they will never be great, being "in there" is good enough, they're making some $$$ , more than they could doing anything else.
Being on the decline is not enough of a reason IMO. A fighter can still be a good measuring stick and stepping stone and old guard to use a few sayings.
The issue is if the guy is getting hurt, KO'd badly,easily or often.
THEN the guy is in danger of SERIOUS long term damage.
Of the 3 guys you mentioned Zuri Lawrance...O ko wins and 2 BAD KO losses in his last fights,,,,5 losses in his last 7 fights. He can't win by KO so he's in for a long fight taking lots of shots or a KO loss. He went down against Guinn without being hit really hard,and couldn,t recover. He's done. People who care about him should stop him from fighting b4 he gets hurt ....BAD!.

Vitali Klitschko tore his rotator cuff vs Chris Byrd in 2000 and Vitali had his best fights after that injury.

Honestly...while I do think that Lacy is irrecovebly changed by the beating he took...nothing for him screams retirement.
The others...yeah...theyr'e all a bit long in the tooth.

Well, he eventually "retired" because of a variety of injuries...that one included.
