That boxing lesson did nothing to Trinidad, it did not stop him from coming forward, he was never hurt, stunned, or wobbled. Besides Trinidad was a notoriously late started in his career, and he had a opponent that took away 1/3 of the fight from him by running due to fatigue. Besides David Reid was giving a boxing lesson to Tito through 6 rounds and he ended up taking such a beating that he never was the same and retired a year after.

If he would have had the energy he would have made sure of it in the first match, but he ran out of gas. At 154 I think Tito would have went in for the quick kill and finished Oscar, I guess we can say Judah was giving Mayweather a boxing lesson, and we saw what happened with that, a flat out asswhoppin.

Tito was much faster and stronger at 154 so I don't think he would've looked the same as he did when they fiought at 147.

There was a reson why Oscar ran from Tito in the last few rounds. He knew if he stood his ground,he would get hurt so he ran like a bitch. That was not boxing,that was running! In a rematch,presumably at 154,Tito would hurt Oscar,may be stop him but definitely win. He was killing himself at 147 to make the weight,I think 154 was perfect for him whereas Oscar does not look good to me above 147. Oscar would not want to leave it to the judges,would stand his ground more and would get hurt by P4P one of the hardest punchers the sport has ever seen. I've said it once,I'll say it again,Tito does not get the credit he deserves. He beat most of the guys Oscar beat BEFORE oSCAR,ruined them and then Oscar would beat them and people would rant and rave about it: Vargas and Mayorga being the 2 best examples.
What was so illegal about the handwraps? Where's the proof? I saw plenty of Tito fights where he takes his gloves off and you see the wraps yet I didn't hear anyone make a noise about it.

I don't think Oscar ran because he was afraid of Tito, or afraid of getting hurt. I've never been an Oscar fan, but I have a ton of respect for him and he's gotten in the ring with everyone.
I think he just made a horrible tactical error, one that he probably regrets to this day, whether he admits or not. He was tired from being on his toes the whole fight, and he thought he had 7 or 8 rounds already in the bag. He thought Tito's only chance was to win by KO, so he gave him as little chance of that as possible.
It was just a bad mistake.

Either weight I think Oscar wins. It's not like the first fight was close until oscar got conservative. Yes, it fought that way because he respected Tito's power and yes Tito would still have a punchers chance, but even when Oscar was letting his hands go, Tito still couldn't make him pay for it. I like both fighters, but I actually prefer Tito to Oscar, and at the time, I was pulling for Tito. I wish we could have seen it happen.

totally different though judah wernt giving mayweather boxing lesson he gave him some trouble first 4 rounds thats difference oscar basically dominated tito first 9 rounds and like i say worst oscar could of done in first 9 rounds is 6 rounds to 3 plus tito doesnt adjust that ive seen anyway he is one dimensional mayweather can change his tactics tito cant and always comes straight forward and even though i like tito he is one dimensional and when he is put in there with good tactical fighter hopkins wright they both dominated him

I'm no tito hatter, but compared to odlh he was one dimensional. Oscar made the freakin mistake of not doing jack for the last few rounds and paid for it, if they went at it again at 147 or 154 oscar would have bagged a ud. Unless tito caught him flush and knocked him, which I don't see happening but tito would always have a puncher's chance.

I agree completely....ODLH has always had that chip on his shoulder...He takes Tito out instead of outboxing him.....

At 147 it would've been interesting. DLH might be the better boxer, but somewhere during the fight he'd have to trade with Tito. That alone could change the course of the fight.
Anywhere above that weight, DLH shouldn't even bother. Tito carried the extra weight a lot better than DLH did. 154 and above... Tito by KO.
Of course, I'm slightly biased.
