Re: Lovemore N'dou, shafted for title by Team Hatton?
don't think anyone's slating Haton for not fighting N'dou. Or that anyone will. So stop acting like Hatton's just criticized no matter what he does, noone on this site came up with the article, or is saying that it's accurate. Fight Castillo already, just get it signed.. I think hanging around in limbo is what pisses everyone off.. It's all so cryptic as to what he might actually do in the weeks before his fights get signed.

He generally is criticized no matter what he does tho.

So is Floyd, so is Winky, Hopkins, so is Calzaghe. The whole point is that if Hatton want's to be listed amongst these guys he has to get used to it, and not just that, but make an effort to get big fights and let people know that's what he want's to do. I mean really, can you honestly say that since beating Tszyu, there hasn't been any reason to criticize him? Maussa, Collazo, then Urango, was not exactly the way to follow it up.. So naturally if he were to fight N'dou instead of Castillo for his next fight, he would be scrutinized, and probably quite fairly. My point was that since he isn't doing that, noone in their right mind is going to criticize him for this decision in particular.
Re: Lovemore N'dou, shafted for title by Team Hatton?
Amazing how Hatton would be moaning if Tszyu did that to him.
Hatton was just a mandatory for Tszyu's IBF belt and Hatton won that right. Now Lovemore won that right and Hatton is gonna say no?
Re: Lovemore N'dou, shafted for title by Team Hatton?
How is Lovemore the number 1 is what I want to know? All the big names on his record are losses...I would think Junior Witter deserves the shot more than N'dou, or am I crazy?Diego Corrales, Castillo, Ngoudjo, and Witter are the only ones not currently scheduled to fight in the top of the division....I think any one of those guys would be better than Lovemore.

Yep, cuz Castilllos a better and bigger fight that was talked about beforehand. Not like N'dou will lose his mandatory status, and this way he may actually win the title when Hatton vacates.
Re: Lovemore N'dou, shafted for title by Team Hatton?
i'm telling ya hatton has made the right choice in fighting castillo. far bigger name, more money involved, better for his legacy and probably gonna be a better fight than hatton n'dou.
lovemore n'dou should accept the vacated IBF title, chase witter for a rematch to avenge his loss at him and have a crack at a unification. i'm sure witter would be interested in getting his hands on another title and gaining a better rep state side and i'm sure that he probably reckons he would beat n'dou again. plus the winner of that fight might be able to have a crack at hatton. n'dou would surely want to avenge that loss.

But the story is that if Hatton was gonna fight Castillo, then Hatton would be stripped and N'dou/Rabah would have been for the vacant championship. HOBSON told the IBF that Hatton would fulfil his mandatory (ie - don't strip him). N'dou/Rabah goes ahead, with both men understanding that they were fighting for a shot at Hatton's belt.
The fight ends, now N'dou get's neither a shot at Hatton or an IBF belt - can you understand why he'd be a little pissed??
All thanks to HOBSON'S alleged dishonesty to the IBF...
Now, I'm sure there's a lot more to come out in the wash - but if this is true then Dennis Hobson is a class A fuckwit.
Exactly mate CC. That's all it is at the end of the day, Hobson telling porkies to the IBF.

I know your not going to be critical. Collazo could turn out to be a very good name on his record but that was almost by accident. You talk a lot of sense. The same people on here who were being critical of him not fighting castillo are now being critical for not fighting his madatory.

100% in agreement with saddo Hatton can do no right by some people...When it was suspected he would fight ndou he was allegedly ducking Castillo, now in paving the way to fight Castillo he is cheating N'dou.....But don't listen to me i'm only representing the opinion of the people who would prefer to see a superfight instead of a lamb being led to the slaughter
Re: Lovemore N'dou, shafted for title by Team Hatton?
He's only fought 4 world champions 3 of them coming off career best wins in his last 4 fights !
No pleasing some.
Mayweather : oo me hands.
Re: Lovemore N'dou, shafted for title by Team Hatton?
Thats a good point alri...but ya cant really deny he has had good schooling....A bronze world medal in the amateurs and consider pro fights like Ben Tackie & Vince Philips...Hatton is no soft touch.
Re: Lovemore N'dou, shafted for title by Team Hatton?
Hatton dominaited those fellas for the best part of 12 rounds.
He's having hard fights i for one can't wait to guage Collazo - Mosely .

:coolclick: I completely agree with you.
To be honest Ricky doesn't deserve to have the opportunites to fight for all of these belts.
To my knowledge he hasn't defended a single title. He won the IBF beating Tyszu, vacated it to fight Maussa for his title. Won that, vacated it to move up to fight Collazo for his world title. Won that (controversially) and suprise suprise vacated that and moved back down to fight for the belt he had just recently given up, beats Urango and wins the belt, and now wants to vacate that to fight Castillo ::**
Surely people have to understand that the belt organisations have rules and regulations and if Hatton wants to fight for these belts he should at least make an effort to honour the belts with one defense at least.
All he does is muscle his way in to the title shot, win it, then basically throws the belt away, takes a crap in the ring and fucks off to fight for another title, which he will throw away seconds after winning.
I'm steadily going off Hatton to be honest.
