Another Contender goes for a title shot. (Mora/Taylor)

I don't necessarily see the KO coming. From what I understand Mora gave Taylor all he could handle at Olympic Trials. From what I'm told, Manfredo fought Taylor as an amatuer, and most ringside observers had Manfredo winning, but Taylor eked out a close one. Taylor has come light years since then, but so has Mora.

I think Taylor wins via comfortable decision (most likely), or late round stoppage (less likely).

Mora is nothing special...at all. Taylor must really want a KO to be fighting this undeserving prick, and I think he'll get one. Taylor by KO.

Must be great to be an american, fight 'reality tv stars; and not get slated for it like a certain other boxer is.

At least Taylor is fighting the winner and not the guy who got sent home on the first episode

I think this will be another one of those fights that is closer than what the score cards will reflect. As much as I dislike Mora, he is awkward enough to give fighters problems. My only question will be if he can take Taylor's power, Mora has never been hit by anybody with Taylor's power. But it will be Taylor by UD, dont think they will allow him to lose by a decision.

Actually I reckon that Archak Turmeliksetian dude probably punched harder than Taylor, although he's nowhere near Taylor in terms of skill or ability.

I could be wrong but I think you guys are underestimating Mora's chin. That said I think he takes a beating for 12 rounds and loses a UD or maybe the fight gets stopped from the massive facial damage that Mora will incur.

Although I predict a Taylor win, I wonder how all of us will react if Mora wins, moreso if by knock out. Will we blame it on Taylor and his conditioning (or worse that he took a dive), or give Mora his props? Unfortunately for Mora and Taylor, it will be a no-win situation for both of them. If Taylor wins, it is to be expected and if he loses, they will blame it on reasons previously specified.

I really haven't been too impressed with any of the contenders, a lot of them are given big fights that they don't deserve.


Mora gets to fight Taylor
Manfredo gets to fight Calzaghe
Steve Forbes gets to fight D-Hop


These are all ridiculous fights.
