Re: Back from Afghanistan
Valuev proved with a massive 3rd round destruction of the powerful and always dangerous Jameel McCline that he is without a doubt the greatest heavyweight champion of all time!
As Don King quoted "He hit Jameel McCline so hard he broke his leg!"
Too bad you missed it! Take my word for it as a totally unbiased observer IT WAS AWESOME!
Re: Back from Afghanistan
Watched the Documentry on David Richards the other night ( former commander of NATO forces in Afghanistan ) and realised how perilous it is out there !!
Obviously watching it in the comfort of my own front room and you fighting on the front line arnt the same but just like to let you know everybody in the free world who doesnt live in cloud cukoo land appreciates what the guys on the front line IE the British and the Americans are doing out there
Hope you readjust quick enough

Good to see Saddo's most underrated poster back. You hear for good? Or you shipping back out?
I'm back for a while, but an aug/sept deployment to Iraq or back to Afghanistan is likely.....how close was the Wright/Quartey fight?

Where ever you go watch your back. Hopefully you stay out of Iraq. Had a younger cousin killed over there last April. As for the fight? I think Quartey did pretty good at this stage in his career. Scores would of been a lot closer if not for two bogus knock downs scored against him.

Here's a little rundown....
Heavyweight: Peter dominated Toney in a rematch winning a lopsided decision. Despite winning, the WBC is making him step aside so Oleg Maskaev can face Vitali Klitschko. And Peter's camp is raising hell about it. Valuev beat Jameel McCline because McCline blew out his knee in round 3. Tommy Morrison is back as well...
Cruiserweight: O'neil Bell got arrested for chasing a sparring partner through the woods with a hatchet :lolhaha: Other then that...nothing ;D Bell and Mormeck rematch in a month.
Light Heavy: Chad Dawson beat Tomasz Ademek by UD. Exciting fight. Bernard Hopkins faces Wright July 21st at a 170 lb catchweight.
Super Middleweight: Calzaghe faces Manfredo in early April and Kessler fights Librado Andrade later this month on the 24th.
Middleweight: Edison Miranda faces Allan Green Saturday. Taylor will probably face Sergio Mora after he beat Ouma in December.
Junior Middleweight: PBF and DLH have engaged in a bit of a war of words. Their press tour closed yesterday in LA. Nothing much else going on in this division.
Welterweight: Mosley just recently dominated Collazo. Margarito had a close fight with Clottey and Cotto dominated Carlos Quintana. Margarito is now going to face Paul Williams voiding a fight in June with Miguel Cotto. Cotto faces Oktay Urkal Saturday. And in June he faces Zab Judah. And a guy named Andre Berto is making a name for himself in the division.
Junior Welter: Hatton dominated Juan Urango and won a UD that was fairly boring in the late rounds. He now faces Castillo in June. Castillo himself won a close SD over Herman Ngoudjo on that same night.
Lightweight: Joel Casamayor vacated his title to face Popo Freitas. Then Freitas pulled out of that bout and is facing Juan Diaz, leaving Casamayor beltless and fightless.
Super Feather: Pacquiao faces Jorge Solis in Texas next month. Barrera is scheduled to fight Juan Manuel Marquez in a couple weeks. Valero still hasn't been allowed to fight in the US.
Hopefully someone else with more knowledge of the lower divisions can fill you in below there....
Welcome back. Everything in the above post is true and correct. But I have to admit, if I got back after four months and some one told me...
*Manfredo are Mora are fighting Calzaghe and Taylor for belts
*Tommy Morrisson is back
*The O'Neill bell hatchet incident
*Vitali's back
*Hopkins is unretired, and fighting Wright at 170
*Sam Peter dominated JT
*and throw in that Morales was KO'd in 3 by anyone short of Godzilla
and I'd swear you were yanking my crank.
