yea these list are impossible to write each name u put in u think of another top fighter who should be in there !!!!!
interesting choices tho mate
IMO Henry Armstrong is my overall #1 pick, now a days you hear about a fighter winning a world title in one division while being champion in another but you don't hear about him defending the titles in both divisions, perfect example Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto, both were still champions at 140 when they won their welterweight titles but both gave up their jr welterweight titles once they had welterweight gold, now that's two divisions and they don't even do it anymore, imagine 3 divisions
....and there weren't interim divisions then eitherQuote:

Apologies to Harry Greb, Jack Johnson, Marvin Hagler, Willie Pep, Shane Mosley, Wilfredo Gomez,
Azumah Nelson, Alexis Arguello, Aaron Pryor, Jose Napoles, Kostya Tszyu, Jake La Motta, Larry Holmes,
Joe Frazier, Bob Foster, Jose Torres,Bernard Hopkins
Personally I have Roy Jones much higher, definatly in my top 5. People might not have cared for his cautious style during the mid to latter parts of his career, or maybe the Tarver/Johnson losses soured a lot of people, but I think Roy Jones was one of a kind and we'll never see a guy do the things he did in the ring or have his abilities again. Roy at 168 was just incredible.
Obviously we all could argue all day about who deserves to be higher/lower, but I think that is a great list if there ever was one. Good job!
Robinson #1
Armstrong #2
Ali #3
O0
The thing is regardless how your rate it, I know most people think Roy would beat their guys whom they rate higher p4p.
I disagree ace, IMO the 3 guys I mentioned would use Roy Jones Jr as a sparring partner!!!Quote:

don't get how Wilfred Benitez isn't on thereQuote:

What an incredible effort in beating Cervantes at 17 years of age though.
I think he could have been a far better fighter than he actually showed us.
