He swallowed 2 pints in that fight. The inside of his mouth got cut in the very first round I believe and he swallowed blood from then on in the fight.Quote:

Zab has never hit the heady heights that Meldrick hit !!
Meldrick was just simply outstanding i dont think for 2 minutes Judah could have withstood a prime Chavez for 5 rounds with his poor defence and discipline.
KT wiped out Judah in 2 rounds .
KT would not have beaten let alone stood with MT .
yea Meldrick on points for me with late knockdown
Are you kidding me? Meldrick could throw fast combinations, but he wasn't as fast as Judah let alone too fast for Judah. Both Mayweather and JUdah have faster feet, hands, and reflexes than Meldrick. The reason Judah loses are 1. focus and 2. his chin.Quote:

Taylor was far faster in his prime than Judah ever was. As mentioned earlier in this thread, Taylor may have had the fastest hands of any fighter above lightweight in history. It's not even a discussion.Quote:

judah have faster hands than meldrick taylor i dont think so buddy you always pick current boxers over older ones in most cases which is fine but in this case its wrong zab judah didnt have nowhere near faster hands than meldrick taylor his hand speed is blurring he can throw 8 punch combos in blink of an eye can judah do that kind of speed ??Quote:

Thats why Leonard for all his combination speed couldn't do anything against Hearns on the outside not just because Hearns was taller, but he also punched as fast as Leonard in terms of one punch at a time. If you look at Judah throwing a jab or cross it is much faster than Taylor's jab or cross. Taylor didn't have a super fast jab, single hook, cross. Punching in combinations is more how fast you can move your shoudlers as opposed to how fast you can move your hands, and Judah moves his hands faster. If you guys are going to contest purely on combinations its a rediculous argument because you obviously have either never boxed, or don't know enough about boxing because when your in the ring are guys who can pot shot you with real speed from the outside, and there are guys who have to get inside because they only throw fast combinations. Taylor was one of the guys who had to get on the inside.
well im just watching taylor now and he had very quick jab and very quick hands without combinations meldrick taylor is faster than judah and ill watch bit of footage of judah aswellQuote:

He is faster watch Meldrick vs. Chavez or vs. Mcgirt how can you say his jab is as quick as Judah's? His hooks are after watching more, but that's the same movement as throwing a combination. Meldrick doesn't have very quick hands without combinations I have no idea what your watching, but watch Judah and/or Mayweather and they had way quicker jabs, and crosses. Mosley and Roy JOnes Jr., and even Leonard to a lesser degree are guys who had both lightning fast speed and combinations, but I place Taylor along with Calzaghe in the department of guys who aren't rediculously fast with individual punches, but are quick at throwing combos.
I just watched Spinks vs. Judah 2, and Meldrick vs. Mcgirt, and Judah faster with his feet, hands, reflexes just like I said. I don't know how old you are or how good of an athlete you are, but watching Judah I saw somebody significantly faster in Judah than I did in Taylor. He came in and out faster. His jab and cross he got more extension and speed on them. Maybe it is because Meldrick doesn't put any steam behind his jab and cross or he has worse technique, but his jab looks pawing and slow most of the time, and when he does put steem on it, it still looks slower than Judah's. His cross same thing.
Taylor's faster. Case closed.
It's case closed. I just watched it slow mo, and Judah is faster. He hand gets out and back faster. So I am right. Timed he is faster. I don't see better proof than that. If you don't believe me get VLC media player, and slow down their fights, and time their punches. After watching three rounds of each in slo mo, and me timing some of their punches on average Judah was faster, and he also had the fastest punches. CASE CLOSED.
