gotta agree with PAC JMM. anytime all three judges see the fight differently the way they did you need a rematch.
Naz would of still got beaten.Quote:

I would have loved to see a third fight. I thought Benn won the second and if he got that decision I think there would have been. Big shame that.Quote:

Interesting someone mentioned Duran/Hearns as a rematch which never happened. I know you say Duran might have done better. Some might say how can he not do better than the first fight, but my thinking is Duran could not have beaten that prime Hearns ever.. The only way Duran could have maybe given Hearns a good fight is had they fought in 1989 or 1990 when Tommy himself was starting to decline.. But the Hearns of 1984 or 1985 or 1986 demolishes Duran everytime. Too big, fast , tall -good. Tommy was just too quick and sharp for Duran... What makes Tommy great? He was just so fast and he came to fight. No matter what you say about Tommy. He came to fight.
That was the 1st fight i thought of ;)Quote:

Its a shame that Corrales - Castillo 3 didnt happen.
I do not think the great great fights like Hagler/Hearns or Castillo/Corrales do well in rematches. I think both times with Castillo it was more a relaxed fight the second time, and had Hagler/Hearns fought again Hearns would not have gone to war just to be knocked out again.. Hearns would have stuck and moved and tied up Marvin and tried to cut up Marvin or swell him up.
Trinidad Vs De La Hoya- De La Hoya did not want the fight
Whitaker Vs De La Hoya- De La Hoya did not want the fight after saying it would happen
Whitaker Vs Chavez- Pernell wanted the rematch, he just wanted Chavez to admit he lost and Chavez would not do it, he did not want any more parts of Pernell
Lewis Vs Klits- We all no about this one
Holyfield Vs Tyson- Technically there was a rematch but we never we able to see how it would have panned out.
