After 6 rounds it was tied up. Mosley then won 6 straight rounds from Oscar, thats not one sided ??? It was exciting in terms of punches thrown. but rounds won Moslet dominated Oscar once he figured him out(first fight)
Re: Kostya v Oscar at 140
I think Oscar was good enough to have gone the distance with Kostya and win a decision, but Kostya always seemed to find the chin of quality boxers. I have watched Kostya's whole career probably 6 or 7 times and he seemed to let fighters land a certain shot a few times and if they continued to try land that shot they got one hell of a smack in the ear ;D so its a toss up for me

So they weren't roudns that Mosley just destroyed Oscar. People can win more than one close round in a row. Also nobody had him winning by more than four rounds, and the other two hand him winning by 2 rounds. Meaning you saying that it was a 6 round spread isn't accurate by the judges. I haven't watched the fight in awhile, but I remember it was competitive throughout, and Oscar definitely won the second fight. Regardless my point is that styles make matchups as much as comparing a common opponent or somebody who beat one fighter. Sometimes that is relavent, but not in the case of Vernon Forrest.
Re: Kostya v Oscar at 140
Oscar would win....he'd outbox Tszyu and stay away from his power much like he did vs Trinidad.
Oscar UD...Tzsyu was too tough to KO

He had 150 amateur fights and hadnt lost his last 130+.
Oscar's record was 223-5 with 163 knockouts in the amateurs. plus oscar was a hell of a puncher in the 140 division, also is the better boxer and had more speed.
Re: Kostya v Oscar at 140
Oscar never fought at 140 bro and so you mean Oscar WOULD have been a hell of a puncher at 140

In ability Kostya was not light years ahead. He is slower, and doesn't hit as hard, but he has a great chin, and better skill which means he was the better boxer. Oscar at those weights was one handed for all intense and purposes.

Tszyu went 270-12 in the amateurs including wins over Forrest and Millett

Agreed.
Although IMO Oscar would probabaly win whatever way he approached the fight, hence a KO isn't necessarily off the cards.
Re: Kostya v Oscar at 140
Oscar has a great chin so i think it would go to the scorecards. Oscar would be the busier of the two from start to finish, but Kostya would be the more accurate. Oscar would win by fairly wide UD, but the punchstats would show a much closer fight.

Zab Judah had a great chin until TYSZU hit it

Mosley also decided to miss Kostya at 140lb? Think of it, DLH V Mosley might not have happened had either fighter fought Tszyu and had their lights turned out!
Only age has beaten Tszyu!
Although kstya may not have been at his best against phillips i think its has to alot to do with his style of smothering tszyu nd he has a gd chin much like ricky hatton the only 2 that have beaten him.Nd i relay dont no who would win out of tszyu nd oscar as u can cum up with a gd argument for both winning the fight but id have to go wid KT

Only a true Penis would deduce a winner by those means .
Ther goes Gordy with the penis talk again. Tito had it right about this guy. Other than that, I agree with the entire post though. Cool Click for Captain Jack.
