Because we don't believe he is going to retireQuote:

i swear PBF only said he would retire to force oscar to hurry up and decide if he would fight him.
Um Mosley right now can't match PBF's speed at all.Quote:

Back in 99 the fight would have been awesome. I favor Mosley in a UD but it would have been close.Quote:

I'd love to see Mosley - Mayweather, but I dunno if it will happen. To put it bluntly, i think Sugar Shane is the biggest threat out there too Floyd's undefeated record, he's the only guy out there slick enough and experienced enough to beat Mayweather at his own game. But I can just see Floyd fighting Cotto or Hatton instead, which present a much lesser risk to him and would probably be just as big fights. Risk-reward, Roy Jones made his whole career on it.
It's funny everyone is saying Mayweather's punches are just tip taps, yet before he injured his hand Baldomir along with everyone else have not been able to simply walk through his punches as Hagler did to Leonard. PBF still has the power to keep Mosley honest. I know Mosley has more power, but he does not have the speed he had in his prime. His first fight with ODLH I would say he was as fast or faster than PBF now, but even that doesn't change how I feel the fight would have turned out because Mayweather is a better fighter. But like Sovereign said Mosley is the biggest threat to Mayweather right now barring Wright being able to get back down to 154. Mosley though not as fast as Mayweather has more speed than any other guy who has a shot at Mayweather, and he has the power, and skills to make it a tough fight. I think Mosley is however to open defensively, and will lose.Quote:
