Re: Many Steward" a great trainer but horrible analyst. Agree or disagree?
I kind of agree. The guy is obviously a legendary trainer, and student of the game, but when he announces, he seems to say whatever kind of bullsh*t pops into his head. I haven't seen MAB v. JMM yet, but that's just what I've picked up on from the past.
Best commentater- Teddy Atlas. They shouldn't let boxing on TV without that guy in the booth.

As far as his knoweldge goes I appreciate it also IMO he is unbiased.....If he had a little more range in his voice he would be great but I can't say I don't like him....
Now some may disagree or laugh at me about this one but.....IMO Lennox Lewis and Roy Jones are two pretty good announcers I don't mind listening to...Roy even has a bit of a sense of humor...Lennox tries hard and with a bit more experience would be a favorite of mine
I actually agree with you on that.

He might be a bit biased sometimes, but he does bring some deep insight
into his commentaries that most other 'armchair' commentators fail to bring, simply because he's got deep knowledge about the inner workings of the sports. Sometimes, his technical assessments come amazingly accurate. In this area, he's clearly indespensable to HBO and to the sports itself.
