____ Worst Frank Warren Show yet ? ______

The actual show in itself won't have been that bad considering the amount of fights on the card. There were shit loads of good domestic clashes....but the itv side of it was piss poor. Complete mis matches but that is to be expected. 99% of the people on here knew that beforehand. The Sugar Ray Leonard cup last week shows you what calibre 'contender' fighters are. Calzaghe might as well have fought Anthony Small or Robin Reid again. I'm fed up with promoters trying to appeal to the casual fan. Start appealing to the hardcore fan.....afterall we are the ones paying good money time after time to watch complete shite!

i only live one hour down the road from cardiff. and when i knew the opponents i decided not to go, and it was to be a freebie for me, iff it was roy jones jr or bernard hopkins, i would have been there straight away, but you could see these fights were mismatches when they announced them, time for joe to step up

I liked how Larry Merchant didn't even give Frank Warren the time of day after the fights in the interview. Warren was clearly getting pissed off, and Merchant didn't give a fuk! I don't like Merchant much, but sometimes he does the right thing. He's got balls. What a disgrace of a stoppage is all I've got to say, yeah Manfredo, HBO, and most of us figured Manfredo to be a sacraficial lamb, but at least give the guy a chance. None of those slaps were landing, and Manfredo was not hurt in the least. Such bullshat. It's a real shame this event overshadowed Corrales's valiant display against Clottey, Corrales is a true warrior who is not afraid to fight the best

God Bless Larry Merchant. He is funny says what truly needs saying and doesn't give a shit. He is getting better as he is getting more fed up with these bullshit matches and he is getting too old to care.
