In my opinion Joe Calzaghe is a top fighter but fighting in a weak division againest second rate fighters most of your career does not make a boxing great , SRR was great Joe Calzaghe retires now you consider him great ? I DONT THINK SO SOME HOW !!!!!!!!!!!!

i would actually give him mad props if he did fight kessler and defeated him convincingly. i actually like to see JC unify then go down or make someone come up to be honest.

Calzaghe is a shower of shite if he ever fights Kessler or Taylor he gets beat infact ive said before that Froch would'nt beat him but i think he would now actually thats if Kessler or Taylor would come over to fight him after the state of the stoppage the other night i bet they will be thinking twice

calzaghe wont go down, he struggles to stay in the super middle but i dont think he'll leave the division, were he belongs

if holding a belt for 9 years, unifying ur division and staying unbeaten with 20 defenses doesnt make u a great i dunno wat will

But who has he beaten exactly beds ?? just look at list of opponents he really has fought and your find there is not one great opponent on the list a champion could make 50 defenses against crap and mediocre opponents but does that him great ?? no it doesn't Calzaghe could of fought much better opponents but hasn't and i wonder why he hasn't got one great name on his list of defenses.
