He did several times. Especially as it got closer and closer to Zab cheap shotting him. At one point he hit Zab to the body, and then used a hook to the head which really hurt Zab, and him not hurting Zab was two things. 1. His gloves, 2. His lack of punching power.

Nah I read the whole article but it was the muscularity thing that really bothered me, mainly because its complete and utter bullshit.
Natural muscularity really doesn't have a great impact on boxing. A fighter needs to be in great shape but that doesn't necessarily follow that he must be muscular. Look at Calzaghe, barely any muscle on him and he's awesome, Cotto's physique certainly has more endomorph than mesomorph but he's strong as an ox for his weight. De La Hoya has never been a naturally muscular fighter but its never played a part in any of his fights ever.
Can you name one fight in history where the commentator has said 'He lost because the other guy was more naturally muscular than him'. ???
It's just an absolutely absurd suggestion and well worthy of coming from EastsideBoxing.com :P

I actually haven't seen the fights of mayweather but i've seen how mosley defeated de la hoya before. If mosley is not as good and as fast as mayweather then definitely oscar will lose via decision.

The most convincing point of that article was that DLH has a history of losing energy towards the end of the fight and losing a lot of weight coming up to the weigh in could be a problem.

Very true. I thought Mayorga was shot after Trinidad but that does not take away the fact that Oscar was walking through his punches, he showed Mayorga's power no respect at all, shot or not Mayorga hits harder than PBF. But Oscar will come no where close to hitting PBF as much as he did Vargas.
The outcome might be determined by the effectiveness of Oscar's jab. We saw how well it nullified Mosley's speed in their second fight.

I don't care if you believe me or not but here it is OSCAR de la Hoya is using someone Faster and as skillfull or better that PBF as a sparring partner, I won't say who maybe after the fight, It all depends how you react to my comments. I'm not saying he will win every fighter has their own style and mind you can just try to imitate to help the other to prepare.

Been saying it all along, since Day One. I want Floyd to win, but I would put my money on Oscar. It's been pre-ordained. PBF has ZERO punching power at 154, and Oscar can afford to take more chances and press the fight. If PBF runs all night, Oscar will get the UD.

The weight issue is complete crap imo. Mayweather is NOT bigger than De La Hoya, thats the stupidiest thing I've ever heard!
FLoyd is 5 ft 7 1/2 , Oscar is getting on for 5 ft 11 in so I suppose Mayweather has naturally heavier bones as well then does he ::**
Oscar weighing 165 lbs is right where he wants to be. He's already at his weight limit now, a hard workout in a sweat suit and a skipped meal prior to the weigh in will have him comfortably stepping onto the scales at 154 lb or less.
He will then rehydrate and come into the fight at about 170 lbs around 10 lbs heavier than Floyd on the night, perfect planning.
I still don't think he will win as Floyd is just the better boxer but it will have absolutely nothing at all to do with Floyd having more lean muscle tissue or being the naturally bigger man ::**
Mayweather is 5'8, and Oscar is 5'10 1/2, but anyways I agree that there is no way Mayweather has more muscle or is stronger than Oscar. The only muscle he may have more of is quick twitch fibers. However I think Mayweather is too quick, and too consistant for Oscar to beat. MAyweather is far better against the jab than MOsley, and he has a better defense than Mosley which will make him harder to hit. My question mark is can Mayweather deal with Oscar's power because he will be hit at one point or another during this fight.

I live in PR and I have friends in the boxing bussines so it means I have my sources that 95% of the time they have been Correct. So is this is wrong then my source was wrong but he is not the type of person who talked crap just for talking. This mysterious sparring partner is quicker than him and about the skill be more than Floyd that is my honest opinion and of course you can have a diffrent one. I share this info with some of our forum members and they understand and keep it to them because I ask them. I just post that because i'm bored at the moment and I'm trying to find a reason to say who is is guy but my source told me that it was suppose to be a secret since you know how Oscar is so secretly when he is training. 
Is this true? is so insteresting if it is.

Well we already know Mosely is sparring with him, thats public knowledge. Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't think of any fighter in the world who is quicker than Mayweather and Mosely?
The only world champ I can think of that comes close is Cory Spinks but he's hardly faster than Mayweather or more skilful now is he? ???

Come on Bilboman don't get desperate. Oh fuck it ..the guy is not in their weight class Oscar is using him because of his incredible speed and boxing ability. I admit is crazy but hey anything to train for a win.
Remember this info came to me from a guy whose rummors are like 95% of the time are truth but that doesn't mean that his info is always from big fights or very inportant stuff. HE just told me two weeeks ago. and I said to him "no fucking way" and then he said "I couldn't believe it either but is true" if this info is a false well too bad but if it is true is a very interesting way to prepare for a fight.
