It would be nice if he did that vs Floyd
The thing with Mayorga is that if ODH loses badly then everyone will remember how Trinidad did vs Winky after destroying Mayorga.
Oscar just needs to be himself, he's a good enough boxer/puncher to stand in there with anyone and he'll hold his own

- If this one is anywhere near close, I'd put money on Oscar getting the decision. It's happened often enough, I
wouldn't be surprised to see it happen again.
- For me, the whole fight hinges on Oscar's ability (or inability) to connect, and I'm not necessarily talking about
power shots. I think we all expect Oscar to get hit pretty regularly - PBF's offense is pretty damn sharp - but the
question remains whether or not Oscar can land enough to get through to Floyd.
- I think Oscar will be in better shape than we've seen in awhile. PBF is always well-conditioned, but I'd bet that you
won't see the Oscar that fought Sturm showing up Cinco de Mayo.
- Why do I get the feeling that, should PBF win this one dramatically, we will see him as a Golden Boy VP? Half of me says PBF has too much ego for that, but something in the back of my head won't shut up about that scenario...
:coolclick: #104 Agreed wholeheartly!! I said that a few months back, win or lose Golden Boy has a new Partner
:coolclick: That's most likely where that idea got into my head - so it's your fault!
I wouldn't be at all surprised, though.

I've given that a lot of thought ever since the fight was first signed and I have come to the conclusion that Oscar is to smart to go into business with a Mayweather. Imagine the shitfight if things went bad.

He dosent seem to be in good athletic position this way, and the way FLoyd fights Delahoya seems to be more open for Mayweathers Straight right, Maybe he is just fighting this way cause its Mayorga but he looks real stiff in there... Also Oscar handspeed dosent look so pronounced of course you lose that with age, but just observations...

You hit the nail on the head! he wanted that madman on his azz asap.
