There were also chanting 'Manny, Manny' like fucking morons for about 5 minutes nonstop after the stoppage so you couldn't hear a damn thing.
If the Hatton fans, Kostya fans, Morales fans or Klitschko fans did that I'd be complaining just as loudly. So don't make assumptions. This is not a race thing, strictly a behavioural issue.

Greig, to be a Pacquiao fan does not need one to be a boxing afficionado. Pacquiao is a FILIPINO ofcourse Filipinos like me will root for him and aside from that he is a HUMBLE person who at the beginning of his fighting career here in the states people think that he will only be a "gatekeeper" and he proved them wrong. A fighter like PAC only come once in a blue moon in the Philippines so some celebrate that way like you mentioned.
To everybody who hates some of the Pacquiao fans: Hate the fan but not PAC, PAC IMO is one of the most humble fighters we have today.

Greig I somewhat know how you feel, I used to feel the same way about MAB and about PBF for a while. But you know thats just the way the sport goes.
I used to dislike Pac when he 1st came onto the scene and his annoying fans wouldn't help it any better. But you know little by little Pac started growing on me the guys smile and happyness lights up a room. And anyone whos seemingly on top of the world as he is to keep his composure and humbleness that way is good with me. Hes exciting to watch and brings masses to bxoing. I mean look at his opposition don't you notice something. 9 out of his last 10 FIGHTS have been against Mexican fighters taking off MAB, Erik & JMM hes bean fead these Mexican fighters who stand a chance in hell at beating him. I know a lot of Mexican & Mexican Amerinca people who dislike him on that alone BUT they don't understand ulitmately it's not HE (Pac) who decides who he fights he just show up. I on the other hand have learned to understand thats the way it goes and also I educated myself on the Phillipines a bit more I started to understand why Pac Fans behavior is the way it is it's cause they are passionate about Pac representing them to the fullest. To see their flag waived in the highest regards of sport is great for them. I mean think how often do you see the Phillipines flag in the Olympics waived for a gold medal? Not once cause they haven't won one. Or for that matter at a major sports event?
ANd to have Pac up there as one of the best fighters in the world in sport that at the moment doesn't get a lot of coverage and for them to be like that I guess it's only right for them to cheer! and be happy.
I will also add that like in any other fan base you have the occasional IDIOTS! who just talk nonsense and have NO fwocken clue what they are saying and are just cheering on cause he represents them, TO ME THOSE idiots DO deserve all the sh*t! talk regardless of who it is they are rooting for. (Take GOLDENBOY213 that guy that was here not too long ago talking about how ODLH is the sooo great I mean IMO he (ODLH) is but this guy was fwocken annoying the sh*t! out of me to the point I was starting to dislike ODLH)
The Mikkel fans are also boderline annoying I'm a huge Mikkle fan probably the 1st one here from back when.... Bu those guys that post on him just go fwocken over board.
