ANYONE KNOW WHEN AUDLEYS COMING BACK OR ANY NEWS ON HIM?

Sprott caught Audley with a lucky punch and now he thinks he's gunna beat Skelton he is gunna get beat up and ko'd and then Skelton needs the world title fight and if he gets it and wins and Audley gets a few good wins i think Frank Warren will give us Harrison vs Skelton

It was and wasn't lucky remember Sprott had good 2nd round and was winning 3rd round and he hurt Audley few times with body shots imo he was starting to comeback and ko was icing on cake but when people say lucky punch it isn't like Sprott was getting outclassed he was doing well from round 2 and onwards and Audley walked right into that hook.

I agree he had a good second round but when he connected his head was down and it did'nt look to me as though it was thrown intentional of taking Audley out or even hitting him it was abit of a flailing blow

I agree with the second round, but I will argue, just for arguments sake, that Sprott had been measuring that Audley jab, and that when he was confident he could get past that jab and catch him flush, he lunged in and he did, throwing the punch where he expected Audley's head to be.

Come on man, you can't compare Jeff Lacy to Audley Harrison. Well, I would hope not, as Jeff has only lost to one of the best fighters in the world, and Audley has repeatedly proven himself not to be of the standard that he thinks he is. In 3 out of 4 of his big fights, he has lost to what you would call 'gatekeepers', and he still maintains he can be world champion. As for losing fanbase, that disappeared when he decided to go bum-bashing in the backwaters of the US a few years ago, instead of taking the step-up fights in Britain.

Fraudley lost fair and square. He cant win a title he doesnt throw enough and he is just plain shit. end of story!

You all know how I hated Audley from the start from dissing me and some other fans in Las Vegas before he had even had a pro fight to poncing around and taking 6 months off after he had had 10 fights to not even challenging for British crown for 5 years...

AND you all know how I predicted from day one he would lose within 19 fights and be found out and kayoed within 24 fights.

Yes - I hated him !

BUT you know what - I actually now have a little bit of sympathy for him (just a smidgeon ;)). Why did the BBC have to go and chuck a million quid at him before he'd started ? He came in to a media frenzy and maybe actually believed some of it that he was the next best thing and the heavyweight crown was his destiny. Ok he was a lazy git but when you are a millionaire before your first fight where's the hunger ?? Guess what I'm saying is it's not all his own doing.

I really fear for Amir Khan too and as soon as he steps up and gets in with someone with a decent punch I think his world could come crumbling down.... ;)

I think the difference between Amir Khan and Audley Harrison is that Harrison made a conscious decision to do it all himself and avoid working with promoters, which basically saw him fighting lots of no-hopers before his first fight with Danny Williams, while Amir Khan is getting a very slow gradient of opponents, but he won't be making a giant leap in class like Audley did. Audley is a sad case, as he really messed up and should have gone with an experienced promoter who'd have taken him on gradually, rather than thinking he could do everything himself.

he promised so much after the williams win and after he got spanked by sprott i came to that firm conclusion

I was never really a fan of his i thought he was overhyped and his fnf appearance was dreadful. And he's a southpaw :(

Definetly not skill or accompolishment... just making a comparision.

Rhun lets put it in proper perspective Brutha... No matter how they got to the bottom of popularity and fan support, there practically in the same spot

So in summary whether you are a undeserveing scrub who didnt live up to expectation and continually lets everyone down or you were a young exciting power punching phenom who ran into a buzzsaw one night, they have both been dumped on there asses and had dirt thrown on them by the Majority..

Everyone knows I am a huge Lacy fan and I wont stop being a fan or turn my back on him, like others have ;)

I find it hard to envision Audley making anything of himself at this stage....he's had his chances against mediocre opposition and still come up short...

Give it a rest I say...
