He has the tools to beat Miranda, and it could very well happen. But to do it he needs to stand his ground, sneak that left hook in on Miranda, follow up and then circle around. Or do something to that extent. A lot of people say that you beat Miranda by keeping him outside, well I don't totally agree. He has a very tight defense on the outside, it's basically a shell it's when he is moving in and looking to make something happen where his defense opens up and that's where Pavlik is going to have to do his work. And his arsenal of punches seem to be made for a guy like Miranda but there is always that X factor of a huge Colombian power house coming at you and whether or not you can keep your poise. If he can, it very well could be a frustrating night for Miranda. I'll probably flipflop on this one a few time. A Pick em fight.
Changed sides on this one a couple times already, like both would hate to see either lose.
;D
People are so quick to jump on the Edisin Miranda bandwagon. Ive been a boxing fan since I was 6 years old. Ive never scene a middle weight that can finish a guy so quick with so little shots when he has the man pinned against the ropes. Thats why I believe Pavlik could beat Jermain Taylor. When Ouma fought Taylor he had him against the ropes allot of the fight. Ouma isn't known for his big fists so he couldn't finish they guy off. Only thing that concerns me with Pavlik is his defense. He has to circle away from Miranda's big pop. If he gets Miranda against the ropes allot and circles his man it could be a short night.
miranda KO
Miranda is an animal and Pavlik has no meaningful names on his record
My man Edison by TKO4
I think that I'm with you on this one. Miranda seems to be taking Pavlik too lightly and seems to be obsessing about Taylor too much. You can't enter the valley before you make the journey over the mountain. Miranda seems to be putting the cart before the horse.Quote:

Bringing an amateur coach to any future title fight is the equivalent of bringing a knife to a gunfight.

Pavlik in the 9th. Hurts him to the body then he kills the head. I would like to see Pavlik knock another guy out to the body. It's just so much more painful. And Im saying the 9th because Pavlik has devoloped into a very patient boxer.
Pavlik will fall thru his asshole in fear after being buzzed by the 1st Miranda right....... I picked door #1
Vegas insider couldnt be more wrong about Pavliks Trainer. It seems to be working he is 30-0, and they are very comfortable together. Pavlik has already said His trainer Jack Loew will stay with him. I admire his loyalty to the man who got him this far.
8) Pavlik is gonna get knocked out he stands in front of opponenets to get hit he best not do that against Miranda! ! ! 8)
