No doctor can tell exactly how long and fully every individual person's body will heal.
The first doctor was only being cautious looking out for Joe's best interests in regards to health.
And the second doctor REALLY wants to see the Kessler fight!

Still leaves me wondering what Warren was thinking, when he was initially demanding ONLY a July date if they were to ever face Kessler.Quote:

As for Calzaghe's hands being in extremely poor condition, it's no news.
Let's just hope he can make at least one more meaningful fight before retiring (and that it'll be the RIGHt fight)
doctors have been wrong in a lot of cases about boxers. The fact that you can seek a different opinion and that someone can look at a health problem two different ways only increases my mistrust of the medical profession. I love watching house because its funny that allergies, the flu, and a stroke can all have headache as their only apparent symptom.Quote:

Im with CMM on this. Too many people already think Calzaghe's a twat, dont prove them right by having another "Oh look at my brittle hands" charade. Keep it under your hat man, people will be impressed when he hammers Kessler, not because he fights on after a moody GP tells him his hands are fooked.
I had a doctor tell me hand wasnt broken because I could just about make a fist. Turned out to be bollocks and I had a couple of broken bones. I played in a cup final a few days after with a lightweight cast on all Gary Lineker like, scored as well, we lost on pens. Now everybody love me please.
Damn!! it's been a while since you and I agreed on something. I think the last time we agreed on something was when we were talking sh*t! about Saddo SteelieQuote:

Anywho! Yeah! I mean I don't hate the guy I think he is skilled (Joe) but this sh*t thats happening is only hurting him, he should have kept it under wraps and continued on to do his thing.
We just lost 2 weeks ago, in penalties also :(Quote:

Maybe if he threw punches with his knuckle impacting rather than the inside of his hand he wouldn't keep breaking them. Just a thought.
Hello?!?!?!!? September!!!! Might be the Kessler fight we all want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah...you can't slap like a b*tch and get away with it forever.....you gotta risk slowing down a bit to throw straight shots..........Broken thumb...and more than once????....man, I remember I bruised mine once....once....and I started turning my punches a little more.....no more bruises.....Quote:

How convenient for him. Now he dose'nt have to under go the embarrassment of Kessler, Roy Jones Jr, or Bernard Hopkins.
You just read a statement...not a quote.Quote:

Tighten up your pannies sister.
From what I remember...he fwocked his hands & they were going to postpone the fight after it was cancelled the first time. When it came back to the negotiating table Johnson wanted his pay upfront due to the fact that he had trainned his ass off for the first fight & the second time that they had asked him was about 2 months out for the second fight.Quote:
