Also consider the fact that Joe Frazier was diabetic affected how he felt after a fight. I remember reading somewhere that it took Joe longer to recover from a bout than other fighters because of that.

As for sore after a fight, check up Julio Cesar Chavez's opponents... Brutal.

Two fighters that were never the same after 1 fight,but for different reasons
Frazier never looked like the same boxer after Frazier/Ali 1,like he just lost something physically
Tyson after Douglas,early in his career Tyson fought with an absolute certainty you couldnt knock him out,afterwords he was never the same

Yep. Marciano threw the hardest punch in boxing history and hit JJW. Golata DEFINITELY threw the hardest nut shots in the history of boxing though.

And damn G-Man was murderous. Everytime I see that guy on youtube it reminds me of why G-Man made me fall in love with boxing.

Marciano also had his nose split open one time....that had to hurt
