Speed bag question

They have a piece of foam inside the glove that keeps you from making a good tight fist. On top of that it doesn't do your wrist much good either. A good tight fist protects your hands, if you have trouble closing you hand with these new gloves the delicate metacarpels in your hands can move around which is prone to injury.

If I could find an old glove in good shape I'd buy it on the spot. You can only put in so much work to break in these new gloves, but in the end it's better with the older gloves. You want a firm straight wrist, and solid tight fist.

While we're on the subject of complaining about Everlast,can someone give me a good and logical explanation why they shove the packing crystals so far up in to the punching mits that its easier to just let them slowly explode to get them out.

Is this why I keep bending my thumb backwards sparring - or am I doing something else wrong? Find it very difficult to tuck my thumb into my fist properly wearing gloves.

Someone at Everlast HQ is laughing over this diabolical plan: "We are going to shove this so far into the glove that they'll go mad trying to pick them out. Seriously I haven't had any trouble getting them out. :)

It's a problem with most of these attached thumbs. Your thumb ends up right next to your index finger instead of ontop your middle finger where it's more out of the way.

Its a plot I tells ya,those damned little packets were wedged in to the absolute tips of the fingers
