Everything you type is kind of laughable for me. But humour us, what has Miguel Cotto done to put himself above these supposedly non world class fighters like Castillo, Corrales, and Judah... You are also oblivious to the fact that Cotto is and has been promoted by Bob Arum, who is on very bad terms with Mayweather Jr since they split... So, why would Arum want to put his biggest cash cow and the hottest rising star in the sport, in with the #1 p4p fighter in the world who hates his guts and would love to see him lose anyway possible... Not to mention that you accuse Floyd of ducking Cotto to fight Gatti ::** :laugh: Because you know, Floyd would have had so much trouble beating the Cotto of a couple years ago, who went life or death with Ricardo Torres...

I don't think theres any comparison, Roy held it down topping james toney and bhop for a decade, floyd is only holding on because his undefeated and his level of opponent is the lowest between the top 3 p4p.

... So who do you think beats Mayweather Julius... Cotto hasn't been ready until of late to even be considered to Fight Mayweather. At 140 he wasn't close to ready, and Hatton could barely beat Collazo. Mayweather is fighting Oscar Dela Hoya who would beat Cotto, Margaritto on the same day. This fight will legitimize who Mayweather has fought because Oscar has only lost once to a opponent naturally his size or smaller (twice if you count a close fight with Pernell). Oscar is a different fighter than he was young for better and worse... he never had great timing, his handspeed was better when he was young, but his defense and right hand are better now. As his career has evolved he has become a better boxer and if Mayweather beats him as decisively as Jones beat Toney then he should easily be a contender with Roy. Regardless When Roy fought Bernard neither of them were even close to as good as they later became. What I am saying is skill wise Mayweather has always been superior to Roy, and if he had Roy's power p4p nobody would doubt him being perhaps the most skilled boxer to ever live.

I think roy bhop and james toney would of beat floyd p4p, luckily for floyd nobody around his division are anything close to those three. floyd has great skills but unfortunitly for him he doesn't have good competition to prove to a guy like me how good he really is. we can both talk about how good floyd is but I'm the type that will have to see how good he really is against better oppenents then the once available to him.
I don't think cotto and hatton can beat floyd, but if floyd wants to be considered as a great fighter he should go after those two. They will surely boost floyds resume.
