i do doubt it. he wants to be considered the best but that won't happen if he only beats de la hoya.
he would need to fight cotto, mosley, hatton possibly and a few others.
if he does retire then he's a dick lol

I think Floyd fights on win or lose. If he doesn't it's because the pressure to stay undefeated gets stronger before each fight. That's his own doing, however. If he wasn't a braggart it would be smooth sailing.
Fighting Hatton? God awful mismatch.
If he beats Oscar he will be a 5 weight champ and 6 time world champ for genuine belts does he need Cotto,Hatton and Mosely he beat them all most fans know this so apart from making more money what does it proveQuote:

He'll retire. You can't go out on a bigger stage than this.
But having finally tasted this big a stage, you don't think he'll want more? If he wins this fight, then his next fight would be massive as well.. I just can't see him going out so easily, seeing how much he craves the spotlight and public attention.Quote:

The lure of the almighty dollar will always get anyone anytime.
He has at least 3 maybe 4 big fights ahead of him over the next two years,
The demand to see Floyd will still be there Win, Lose or Draw.
From what I saw of his attitude towards money (his sports gambling in particular) he will return. ;)
Yeah he says "I like to have $10,000 in my pocket" so i doubt he will quit when the big paydays are available.Quote:
