Re: If Hatton..............................
If..........
.........Hatton beat Mayweather, people would start calling Mayweather an over-rated, never tested champion, who fought washed up bums like Gatti and Baldomir!
They wouldn't give Hatton credit for this very reason!
People find any reason to knock great results...e.g. Hatton vs Tszyu and Calzaghe vs Lacy.
I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I'm just giving you my opinion on if.........

I agree with you. I really feel Hatton doesn't get the credit he deserves at times.
Re: If Hatton.............
A lot of people would still not give Hatton credit he is due just like after ther KT fight.
By the way I dont think our Ricky has much of a chance against FM anymore.Hatton has gone backwards as a fighter if anything.
Re: If Hatton.............
if ricky beat floyd i'd give him the praise he deserves but it would take another KT night from his too muster up enough to beat floyd and i just don't see that hunger in him anymore his last few fights have been quite bad and he seems to not carry that energy he had anymore.
also my reaction would be floyd must have took this one lightly cus there is no way in hell hatton beats floyd mayweather who is hyped up and ready for the fight.
i also agree witht he last post that hatton has gone backwards while mayweather has gone forward.
Re: If Hatton.............
I wouldn't be completely suprised if Hatton beat Floyd. He's got twice the heart that Floyd does but unfortunately he has about 1/10 of the defense. I can see Hatton getting alot more shots in on Floyd because Hatton will not only follow him around the ring, but he'll stay within 6 inches of him. In the end I see Floyd winning a decision. Floyd will never let his hands go to knock somebody out. I think he's done knocking people out. Great topic though.
