taylor could win a decision but i think pavlik tko him
I'd be real curious how JT fights this one. I mean he isn't a slick technical boxer, and at the world class level he hasn't shown KO power. Does he choose to bang with Kelly? I doubt it and I dont think he wins a slugfest either. To me JT's chin is untested and Pavlik's looked pretty sturdy taking the best Miranda had to offer. So the question is can he out box Pavlik for a late stoppage or decision? My opinion is that JT can't outbox him moving backwards, and will either get KO'd late or lose a bad UD and be knocked down a couple of times....That being said JT has been in with a much better pedigree than Kelly, and maybe he has learned a thing or two....I'd put money on Pavlik but not all of it.
Agreed well said.Quote:

Pavlik, all Taylor will do will try and pop shot and dodge. Pavlik won't give him space and i for sure see a knockout
all the same people that says taylor will loose every time he fights. i need you people to show back up and eat your crow this time. taylor 8 round KO.
taylor got to where he is today counter punching big KO rights and sticking jabs down his oppositions neck. the last five fights were track stars and pavlik is no runner. he cant handle the power but will have a chance to land a big shot like any strait forward boxer.
Taylor hasn't cracked an egg in ages and couldn't even ko a natural Welterweight Cory Spinks i find it hard to believe that he will ko a monster like Pavlik and actually in many peoples eye he should be atleast 1-3.Quote:

To me if I were Taylor I would not want the rematch clause if I got kayoed . 2nd time could be embrassing. Taylor aint no Willie Pep. So I dont see him making a huge come back rematch win. Smaller guys push him back all day. What makes you think he is going to cut off the ring to a guy that can snap your forearms as he punches through guard. One shot is all it takes. Taylor will eat some rights and not by Spinks , Ouma , Hopkins, or Wright. Pavlik can out punch most light heavy weights. Taylor is going to get beat.Quote:

I CAN SEE JT WINNING THIS ONE MAYBE IT'S TIME WE SAW JT USE HIS ATHLETISM AND STRENGTH THAT HE DOES POSSES AND SHOW THE WORLD HE IS A GOOD BOXER. I'M NOT SAYING STAND THERE AND TRADE THAT WOULD BE STUPID BUT TAYLOR FOR ME.
Goin for taylor by tko around the tenth.
Even though Pavlik beat an overrated hard hitting Mirranda, i'm still not sold on Pavlik. Jermain been a big let down since he became champ but i think come September he gon prove to everyone why is the champ and not only beat Pavlik but knock him out in 8 rounds. You heard it hear first. O0
Taylor. Definitely. Pavlik is the guy who has impressed as of lately but against less than stellar competition. Miranda was all hype-hopefully we all see that. Taylor hasn't KO'd anyone in 6 fights but you have to examine who he was in against. Joppy didn't engage and ran all night once he tasted Taylor's power, Hopkins is Hopkins, Wright is Wright, Ouma decided to be a freak of nature and eat a million hard shots and not be taken out (Taylor snapped his head back several times but it showed no effect) and Cory Spinks was much to fast and slick for Taylor to take out. All that experience has to register somehow on Taylor (except for Joppy). Pavlik will be Taylor's first opportunity in a while to do what he does best: bang. Now Pavlik can do the same so I'm not suggesting it's a lock. But Taylor won't have to chase Pavlik down or punch through a guard; he's going in against a fighter who is largely the same as he is. Pavlik is big, strong and tends to neglect his defense. It's on Taylor to draw from what Steward is teaching him and what he's learned from his last few fights to show why he has the belt.
Taylor silences all you critics with a brutal bloodied TKO finish somewhere from rounds 7 to 9. ;)
Ask yourself how did BHop look before Taylor? against Hoya & Eastman he looked brilliant, after Taylor against Tarver & Wright he looked even better!! I still don't understand why so many think Taylor will be exposed when BHop couldn't do it?
JT has fought 3 southpaws (all ex-champions, two of UNDISPUTED champions!!) in a row! and he failed to look the goods ::** This will be the perfect final JT stamp on the division.
The money I put on this fight will help cushion the loss of coin I endure when if Hatton loses. ^-^
i dont really understand what your talking about???Quote:
