:coolclick: #218. I thought this. Cunningham fought 12 grueling rounds in Poland a week ago. Is he taking the F****** piss? I mean seriously, how is fighting Cunningham an option. If Cunningham takes this, he's a dumbass. Enzo isn't really a champion in my eyes. He's still gotta prove himself because he hasn't fought top class opposition yet. Very protected, Haye would have owned him inside the early rounds.

I usually try to b impartial when on this forum but i fail miserably when it comes to Macca...Met him again in Cardiff genuinely the nicest guy in boxing. Hope he gets all the fights he deserves soon.

In the build up to the second Hobson v Macca fight I interviewed Hobson, having met him before, and he is also one of the nicest guys on the circuit, but CC for the Macca comment, he's a top fella too.

I do some writing for the news section of this site, and Curtis, the news editor passed me his number.
Re: Enzo Maccarinelli awaits unification showdown
Excellent! I spoke to him in Cardiff after his fight with gunn. He was the embodiment of a gentleman and was a real contrast to Kahn and other boxers, in that he walked around freely, no entourage, no fusss.
Re: Enzo Maccarinelli awaits unification showdown
Enzo is by far the nicest and msot down to earth boxer i have spoken to or done work with...
When i do interviews with him hes always easy as hell to talk to and a good laugh, always returns my texts or just calls me to let me knows whats going on etc...
I ran into him in the bank on my lunch and he was by the counter, he shouted back ello and waited for me to sort me dealings out for a quick chat.
Its a pleaure doing work with him to be honest.
