Honestly I don't think it's possible for me to be shocked by a film any more.
When you've watched live beheadings, seen horrific road accidents and watched women have sex with the weirdest of animals there is simply nothing that a film can do to either shock or arouse.
To be honest I think the internet has corrupted me to my very core so that now I ain't moved by any movies.
Yeah I'm the same the internet has completely fucked me up I will probably need therapy one day soon, the only things which really gross me out are the more realistic things which i can relate to like in hostel when the guy cuts his achilles tendons or in saw 2 when that women gets thrown in a pit of used needles or my favourite in American history X when that guy puts his lips on the pavement and gets his head stamped on
Regards Hostel I thought it was a cool movie I applauded the idea but they could've made it more suspenseful I didn't find it very scary, although I have decided I will never go backpacking in Eastern Europe just in case ;D
Yeah first thing I'd do over there is buy a AK-47 and a crapload of ammo!!!
You're like me man, internet has stuffed me, used to look at those websites about torture and death and stuff...I EVEN FRIKIN watched part of Armin Meweis (spelling :-\) homemade video. He is the guy from germany...who killed and ate another bloke and stuff. He filmed the whole thing...some psych doctors and therapists watched it and need therapy themselves afterwards...BUT ME IN MY INTELLIGENCE...watched it anyways...and frikin felt gross after the 'penis cutting part'
Shiiiiiiiiiiit. I can't believe you watched that garbarge man. :o I wouldn't wanna see anything like that. Oh yeah, ordered an Ab Wheel too. What now bitches?! ;D
Haha go hard boy! Go hard!
Re: Hostel 2-who is going to see it?

Live Beheadings ? Fuck .
I watched that Nepalese Bloke getting beheaded Actually i was too much of a pussy and scrolled down and listened to it which was probably even worse but it did affect me quite badly !
Doing it to somebody who is tied up and knowing he's enduring his last moments on earth in the worst possible pain .....evil
I watched Hostel at the cinema thought it was aload of shit once all the claret starts spilling it takes 15 seconds and your desensatised to it '' oh look there goes another eyeball' but leading up to the 1st killing was quite good
Its not what you see baby it's what you don't see it's the suspense that should make a good horror film .
I shat myself totally watching the Blair Witch Project there where little girls behind me laughing at me wondering what all the fuss was about but i was terrified .
Imagine a horror film where nobody actually gets killed in front of your eyes, wanker, that describes Blair Witch perfectly.
Case in point : The Deceased , billed as better than Goodfellas but only had about 10% of the violence which i thought made it a better film .
Same with the Usual Suspects another true masterpiece of filmmaking IMO , you don't see anyone getting whaxcked untill near the end .
Anyone ever pull into a station on the train and start wondering about all the history thats gone before and what your not seeing is probably more intresting in what you actually are .
Remember going to St James Park - Newcastle and as you come into Newcastle you cross a bridge about 100 feet above the Tyne and Newcastle is staring down on you from up on the hill all the old fort building look amazing and you feel like your about to experience something you've never experienced , for some stupid reason i got an amazing adrenalin rush and felt like I'd caught site of the enemy and was going into battle .
Okay I'm rambling on I'll be quiet
