Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito Would Be The Fight Of The Year No Question

It would be an amzing fight between my 2 favourites BUT lwt's not jump too far ahead. Margarito has a very very tough assignment with PW,he should be focusing on that first.

and for SOME REASON I think Margarito would win :o call me crazy but my opinion hasn't changed

Margarito has a tough fight on his hands already really and its not guaranteed he will get through that....

I dont think Cotto: Margarito would be fight of the year because I dont think its a fight that would be all that close...

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but your predictions.... ;) ;D and Margarito has been at WW for longer and fought tougher fighters at WW whether anyone likes to acknowledge that or not. Cotto Tony would be close,anyone who thinks otherwise has not seen enough of Tony.

Williams: Margarito will be a great fight. No talk should be about Cotto: Margarito until this has been played out.

Of all the fighters in the WW division, Margarito is by far the most dangorous for Cotto. I'm from PR and am a big fan of Cotto but as was said before, the hight and reach advantages, the fact that Margarito knows how to use his hight and Cotto's slightly questionable chin make this a tough task for Cotto.

I actually think Cotto has a better shot at Mosley. I hope Williams beats Margo because, even though Williams is also a tall guy with even more reach, he does not use his hight well and likes to get close and brawl more. He is sometimes compared to Tommy Hearns but he fights nothing like him. Cotto would beat him I think.

CC for telling it as you see it. I can relate although I WANT tONY to win because he and Cotto are my 2 faves! Tony has the tools to beat Cotto,anyone can see that. I favour Cotto over Mosley/Williams too.

Margarito has a better uppercut and if Cotto hit him low Tony would hit him back low even harder so they can both suffer ;D and then Jose Miguel Cotto would run into the ring and closeline Tony, while Lennox runs in the ring to break it up and while tryint to talk sense into Margarito gets hit from behind with a steel chair from Jose and then Margarito punches through the steel chair as 20 people storm the ring and Margarito throws them all over the top rope and Floyd Mayweather stands in the corner doing nothing, just saying "I'm not about to let these people f*** up my money". Then Jose tries to hit Margarito with the steel chair and Margarito moves out of the way, causing Jose Cotto to hit his brother Miguel with the chair instead knocking him out cold, Margarito then closelines Jose Cotto over the top rope, and during all of this the ref is unconscious, he wakes up just at the time Jose is knocked out of the ring and sees Miguel Cotto laying on the canvas, and begins his count, he gets to 10 and Cotto is still down and We have a NEW WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION ANTONIO MARGARITO!!

I have a very strong feeling this is not Majesty.

Margarito would have to be favored on style and punching power. He is a legit 147 pounder unlike Zab. Zab was still a small welterweight.
