On the one hand, I don't blame Freddie for going with Oscar. Money talks but Freddie already had other obligations.
Freddie just left the kid hanging in the biggest fight of his career.
Freddie could have talked Peter out of taking this fight and or postponed it.
He hands Peter over to Justin and Justin does not even show up to the fight?
Freddie never called Peter once from Puerto Rico.
Millions of new boxing fans around the world were introduced to Freddie Roach thanks to Peter.
I am not saying Freddie was not famous but Peter introduced him to a whole new crowd.
What did Freddie Roach do for ODLH?
Not a God Damn thing.
Is Freddie the reason why Manny Pac Man is so great?
Phuk No!
Manny was great before he was with Freddie.
My oponion is Freddie is a little bit too much over rated.
The fact that B-Hop has hired him as his trainer does not sit well with my claims, I know.
The only thing that Freddie teaches is aggression, some trickery and rough house tactics. These are qualities that B-Hop already possesses. Can Freddie teach B-Hop to be even more dirty? lol That is like trying to teach a pig how to get more muddy than he already is.
Freddie is a great student of the game but he is not the greatest trainer.
The Mayweathers have a better team. Jeff being the best all around trainer there is.
IMO, Jeff is better than his brother Floyd.
This is a great fight for both guys. They both need wins and they are fairly evenly matched, and they are going to be seriously motivated to reestablish themselves.
Hopkins didn't hire him coz he is so great, it was a buisness move coz golden boy want some of his fighters, + trainers to guys like hopkins are more of an accesory, the 'bling' of boxing:pQuote:

My bad.
So, who the hell is Manny P's promoter?
Is this just another ploy by GP to try and lure Manny and Roach?
Arum is Manny's promoter, and Roach has said a few times that he wish Manny was with Golden Boy. Oscar selecting Roach was definitely a business move imo.
I don't rate Green at all,and I don't think Manfredo has anything to be afraid of. Also,Amat,on a side note,Tarver wants Jeff Lacy next!
Hopkins hired Freddie because his trainer had a stroke.
alan green almost got ktfo by some unknown
green still wins nutgoobla
That complete unkown you are referring to is named Donny McCrary.Quote:

They are sparring partners.
This is another reason why Judah did so well against Floyd in the first 5 rounds.
Both Judah and Floyd have sparred and not to mention that Floyd was coasting in those first 5. Floyd knew he would shift gears and smoke Judah for the 7 remaining rounds.
