As I already stated in me other post...there are other boxers that do outreach & programs of the sort but Oscar is hands down one of the most active & spend thrifty out of our current bunch of champions.

I guess to be fair to you, not many who have stood in the presence of the Golden One remain unnaffected, his divina aura is I imagine pretty spellbinding.
Did he transfigure in front of your eyes? He looks like he's in some sort of trance and his face seems to be glowing.
Shame you didn't stick around with him a bit longer, John the Baptist and Moses would have probably turned up, that would have made for a great photo for your collection. :bowdown: :jesus:

Funny thing is they were there it's just that ODLH I mean Jesus did not allow them to have their pictures taken.
Probably just as well mate, the contrast on your camera was probably already stretched to its limits by trying to duplicate the full glow of Oscar's tan, if there would have been any more orange in the picture it would have broke your camera, not to mention your eyes.
By the way I think I've worked out why you need to wear sunglasses.

Is that what happened with your eyes? Do they glow all the time now seeing as they have looked upon the glory of the Golden One?

Did he pay for the building of it? Well, even if he didn't it's an inspirational name and I wouldn't mind if my child attended that school. Unless it's smack in the middle of a "rough 'em up" neighborhood.
If it's a latino area it should be named after a respectful lantino figure. That's my opinion. I'm not talking Big Pun High or J-Lo Elementary.

he donated land and $1,000,000 to start the project and has donated more as the project went along. his Oscar De la hoya foundation supports many scholarships and financial aid programs the school offers.
