Personally...I really like everything about the fan base of Hatton...everything 'cept the Blue Moon song...#1: I hate that song period...#2: I aint a fan of punk/hardcore anymoe!

Anywho...the fight was a goody & it's nice to see that the fans braved the waters to see their man blow another one out!

And also has its danger for ricky hatton....one of the reasons he gets a bit reckless. I'm starting to sense that some americans don't understand what a good atmosphere is. That sort of atmosphere is perfectly normal over in the uk.

Cheering and Booing make for atmosphere and sometimes get the athletes pumped up

Why not horns, drums and all that is part of sports period.
Drums, horns and chants have gone along with all sports for years.

I love the way the Hatton fans do that I think it's great and talk about living in the moment. Ricky himself loves it and thats the way the Hatton fans show up to support their man.
Name another fighter who has playing bands, and chants made for him?
Not even the most popular boxer ever has that.

It get's old when your not into it.... Or when your not a fan..

I'm not a fan but I know what chanting and cheering is about and I love it...
I think it's a great atmosphere and it really lightens up the sport and the arena.
