From the sounds of it Mundine had hit him with everything and registered in his mind that he wasn't going to be able to stop the guy and decided to coast the final round or so because he didn't want to get caught with anything crazy.Quote:

The thing was it looked like Mundine could almost end things at any time. But instead of putting his punches together or even following up after the jab Mundine seemed contempt to just look for that one big shot! I'll say this... if he fights like he did last night against guys like Calzaghe & Kessler he'll get stopped!Quote:

Thanks Galaxy CC from me. That's what I would have said too. Speaking to someone earlier they thought it may have been a way to give the fight more cred due to the criticism that was leveled at the fight. It's true too that a 12 round boxing display with 2 well matched (or at least equally experienced) fighters to win a fight is impressive and i enjoy that too eg: Hopkins v Tarver but I think mundine should have stopped an opponent who is ranked so far below him.Quote:

no way he would get stopped by Mundine, i just feel frochs sheer power behind him would be enough to stop the man. I feel he wouldnt have felt enough power like Frochs to last the distance and he would slow down after taking his uppercuts.Quote:

yer dont get me wrong it would be a good match up and i do believe it could go either way, i just feel that those brutal uppercuts i saw landing against frochs last fighter was enough to say his next fighter will get slowed down by them a lot. He throws them with so much authority and power and i believe it could be enough to stop Mundine.Quote:

i watched the fight and to me it looked like mundine could have ended the fight when ever he pleased! ....i think he wanted to go late in the fight, after all it was just a tune up fight and what are u going to tune up if u ko the guy in 2 rds?
Mundine is fast and has great defense. Froch has to actually hit him to do damage. Kessler has more power than Froch and he couldnt get through the mans defense cleanly.Quote:
