Again, I made a similar point in the "white Heavyweights thread" that Bilbo decided reduced the thread to being about race.

It is a bit of a ridiculous thread, as in general black people are more suited to boxing, as they are to sprinting. This is related to a more dense composition of their muscle make up and I believe it also has something to do with a greater average density of fast twitch muscle fibres.
Conversely the muscle density is part of the reason that black people cannot swim as well, because they do not float as well!

By negating white people who are the genetic underdogs you are not really counting out many people.

Now I would like to know a list of the top ten black sprinters!!

If I were to respond to this seriously, I might put guys like Hagler, G-Man, Julian Jackson, and B-Hop on there. There have been a laundry list of great fighters that just kind of passed the division, James Toney, RJJ, Hearns, Leonard, etc.

But I think it would be a little risky putting any of the above #1 when... SRR SRR SRR fought like 14757389 fights at middleweight.

It did buddy. There have not been that many great white fighters in history so it's perfectly fair to rate them. Have you complained to the BBC because they have a top 10 British fighters chart? That's surely just as discriminating to non British fighters as a best white boxer thread is discriminating to blacks. ::**

Race has NOTHING to do with these kinds of threads, what about top 10 greatest southpaws? Does that offend your sensabilities? :-\

Any top 10 middleweight thread would have to include Peter Manfredo. He was a machine at middle!

but to sum up this thread, i feel political correctness has gone up to a point to where people are afraid to say anything about a person's race.
You can't call a black dude black, i mean wtf....apparently "it's too racially motivated"

Like the thread about the Top 10 best white heavyweights, i couldn't believe the responses from some of these posters. Goddamn, lighten up.
