My Top 100 Boxers of All-Time Pound for Pound

This list is too biased to older fighters.

That's a damn good question. Armstrong, Saddler and Pep are one thing. I want to know how many times the poster who made this list saw Eder Jofre, Joe Jeanette, George Dixon, Tommy Loughran and Jim Driscoll fight, that he's able to rank them?

A top 100 p4p list isn't an easy endeavour. I commend him making an attempt even if it isn't perfect.

I understand what you guys are saying about it being flawed, but we don't know what research he did or didn't do to formulate his list.

Is there footage of Ray Robinson's early fights floating around in cyberspace? If there is I haven't seen it. Still, I know he is quite possibly the greatest welter this world has known.

Knowledge was passed down from person to person long before pictures and film were available.

He probably just slipped his mind. Thats a lot of names to write down.... Duilio Loi should be high on the list though imo and I dont see his name otherwise Shaw deserves some credit. Nice work man.

I like Greb up there. I might have put him in a tie for first.

I think that any man who can hold titles in three weight classes at the same time really needs no building up. Also I think that you look at the competition they beat.

I wasn't alive when Linclon was president but no one has to convince me he was a good one :-\

Props for even trying to make a top 100 list. One thing u might want to consider. Your list will never be the same as someone elses. It's going to be picked apart by alot of people (something that I'm sure that ur aware of since u made it a thread). Don't sweat it.

As for my observation. To be honest I quit reading after I saw Terry McGovern & Jimmy Wilde rated better than Rocky Marciano (obviously I disagree in a big way). I also saw where some others had posted that Chavez was not on the list. I absolutely beleive that he should be.

To be fair I am going to go back & read the rest. Hey, it's ur opininon & like I said--Props to u for taking time out to prepare a list in the first place.

IMO #48 Pascual Perez has no business on the list. The Mike Tyson of his last few years may be easy to dismiss as a #100 but I beleive that he should be lower (better) because of his accomplishments/impact on history (youngest HW champ). Bob Foster is better than a #72. #83 Jimmy Barry ?

I am not gonna sit here & drive myself crazy re-arranging ur whole list in my head so there's just a couple of my opinions. The more I look at this list the more vexed I become.
