Limond was fighting guys with losing records or boxers with just about winning records plus Limond had no power.Quote:

Kahn has the ability not to have his chin tested, he does leave that chin in range after firing his rapid shots, but he is still a 13 fight 21 year old novice, i think this gave him the world of good this sort of fight and i feel he will learn loads from it, bit similar to David Haye against Carl Thompson.
Difference is Thompson could bang even though he was old he still was tough and could bang and in that fight it was Hayes stamina that let him down when Khan comes up against hard hitter i think its curtains for Khan.Quote:

Im not writing Khan off just yet, he is 21 and fought 13 times!!! Limond was a seasoned vet who is in his prime, not the greatest fighter but he was a commenwealth champion.Quote:

It is possible to be criticle without being a hater, it doesnt have to be so black and white. Question marks have hung over Khans chin since day one, what happened last night is all the confirmation some people need. I'd hardly call that hating.
Thaxton should have what it takes to K.O Kahn . Limond was a superfeather moving up with no power . Thaxton is a light welter moving down who has power . He took Hatton 12 without going down so I dont see how Kahn will provide any problems and as soon as Thaxton lands Kahns chin will shatter .
Khan has a punchers chance i suppose but he will have to hide his chin and get on his bike, Thaxton's over the hill but still has a really good punch, Khan should go to the States and get some proper sparring and coaching, Manny Stewart is great with guys who are great punchers and have weak chins, like Khan, funny great punchers seam to have glass jaws.
i wouldnt call Kahn a great puncher to be honest, he just needs to work on his defence and he will be fine he has the abilty and speed to be a great defensive fighter.Quote:

Amir was hurt but he was pushed down make no mistake though he was hurt but i did say this fight was'nt as easy as most of you thought. But he showed grit and i think he can beat Thaxton.

We all want him to do well at the end of the day!
Khan was caught with not one, but four punches to put him down, so I don't know where this Limmond can't hit stuff is coming from. He does not have alot of power, but 4 head hits will send almost anyoneto the canvas. Khan was walking about with his chin up and that's what cost him.
TBH I'm glad he hit the canvas as it will open his eyes to how tough his chosen proffession is and will hopefully make him a better fighter.
