You know there's always going to be critics and cynics, but overall i wasn't bothered to much by RJJ's comments..I am a die hard Pacman fan, my dad was born and raised in the Philippines...So i have nothing but dedication and admiration for the talent of Pacquiao...But the Dog eating comment was a bit much... Thats a pretty big racial slurr on your part, and thats disappointing coming from someone who wishes his words to be taken seriously..>It made you sound like an a$$.....Every fighter has there die hard fans that will get bent out of shape over there fighter, its not just the Filipino's... I remember die hard ODLH fans supporting him after he ran from Tito...I remember hearing RJJ fans making excuse after excuse on why he is still the best after facing lack luster opponents over and over.I remember Vargas fans not giving up on him after he got KO'd by DLH...(i was one of them)...The list is endless...So you can keep your tampons and let the fans be fans...EVERY Marquee fighter has them...maybe you should get over that.

I don't get what Jones said that was so wrong. For anyone who read race in his comments they are reaching big time. Jones saw one fighter as being more technically sound than another. He didn't say Pacquiao was terrible, just not as well-rounded as Barrera. And that's true. Barrera is going to lose in their rematch but Barrera is on the decline whereas Pacquiao probably hasn't hit his prime yet.

JMM has 51 fights, has fought since 93 and is 33 years old....MAB has 68 fights, is 33, and has fought since 89....a case of it's not the years it's the mileage
Soto, Valero, Guzman, Barrios, Solis...are all good options.

Roy says Pacman is not a thinking fighter?.. I think Roy’s comment was rather novice for such a seasoned world class fellow . .often the power puncher is thought to be brainless. true in some cases no doubt, however its not factual in this case. , If you look at the matches Manny blasted Morales with ease. Out thinking Morales and beating him to the punch , Manny snatched Barrera in a once sided affair winning that match with ease. ,, also had crowd pleasing match with the great underappreciated JMM.
Take all that into account . I feel Manny is a P4P fighter if there ever was one..
I also believe that Ricky Hatton is masterful at his craft, while both Pacman and Hatton's styles are different from Roy's. they are every bit as effective as Roy's was , and much more crowd pleasing as whole in my opinion then Roy’s . so I would say both Hatton and Pacman are p4p blokes, just my humble opinion. One thing is for sure , a fan is going to get his money's worth with Hatton and Pacman ! That couldn’t always be said about Roy's fights. not to say Roy wasn’t talented , he was. however like Mayweather , he didn’t always put his masterful skills to the best of use.
Thrilling the fans is always an important factor for any prize fighter to take into account when utilizing their given style. Balls being the greatest asset in boxing . Marciano to Sugar Ray Leonard both had Different styles. both has brass balls .

No one is saying Manny is a bad fighter they are just saying he's not as skilled of a BOXER (a la Floyd Mayweather Jr./Winky Wright/Willie Pep) as the other fighters out there.
